2022-08-16 13:53:41 +0000 UTCI called you a baby because of your long winded rants just because I pointed out the weakness in writing the writers are trying to be too clever and just teasing what’s next to come hoping nobody will notice the weaknesses also season 5 is yet to be officially signed by HBO it’s only the showrunners and ed harris that has said the story isn’t done
2022-08-16 12:43:37 +0000 UTClol how am I being a baby or acting upset? Plus wouldn't you be doing the same? Name calling simply because I pointed out the flaws in your theories. Here I thought we were just having a conversation/discussion 🤦♂️ Anyways, to get back to your "flawless" theories, why would a host try to get into the sublime? William programmed them all to fight each other to the death. Also how would a host even know where to begin getting into the sublime? As far as the no bodies, Christina/Delores is a powerfully advanced AI, housed inside a giant advanced server system, powered by a hydroelectric dam. We've seen how Delores, Hale and Maive can all "hack" hosts thru wifi. Plus there are still active drone hosts she might be able to use as well as Hales pearlless body sitting right there at the base of the dam. Perhaps she left her body there for Delores/Christina to use. Now please don't get to upset for calling out the flaws in your theories. Also not to get to nitpicky what you're describing aren't really flaws in the plot considering there's another season. Even if there wasn't, the show not explaining every little detail as to what happens for the next how many years has nothing to do with the plot. At the end of Return of the Jedi, when everyone is all dancing and singing with the furry little teddy bears, there's still countless Imperials out there but it doesn't then cut away from the happy little bears to add in "oh by the way here's what happened to the rest of the thousands of Star Destroyers" Because they aren't relevant to the story being told.

2022-08-16 12:39:32 +0000 UTCA host might destroy the servers because they can’t get into the sublime and also if the host could just leave like you say delores can then she’s and none of the others have nowhere to go they need physical bodies outside quit being a baby getting upset because someone has called out the flaws in the plot
2022-08-16 11:09:28 +0000 UTCThat's basically saying like a meteor could hit the planet and destroy everything. Which in that case 🤷♂️ I don't see why a Robot would do anything to the dam, they don't function on their own. As far as the people left, we have no idea how many are left or where they are nor if they know anything about the sublime and dam same goes for the hosts. We know in ep1 Hugo said the dam had recently been upgraded and won't need any maintenance for at least 100 years, it was also stated that Hale built the servers for "resilience". So Christina has essentially 100 years IRL or thousands of years in Sublime to play out her final "game" and decide if life is worth keeping around. Plus her pearl gives her access to opening the sublime from the inside, so who's to say she's stuck in there, she pretty much has the ability to come and go if she chooses. She might pop out in a week and tell all the remaining defense robots "Yo come protect this damn dam"

2022-08-16 10:59:57 +0000 UTCBernards predictions only go off peoples actions they do not predict any outside force or if any of the people or host would do something that would cause an event that would destroy it as a result of williams corruption it doesn’t matter how long time goes in the sublime when it could end in an instant from something happening to the dam a robot smashed through the wall and William also damaged it so it could just as easily come down sooner
2022-08-16 06:48:53 +0000 UTCI would say so, I wasn't a big fan of season 2 or 3 at all nor was I all that excited about season 4, I only really watched it because the crew did their reactions. But this season had me hooked every episode. Much like the first season. And now I'm actually looking forward to another season of the show.

2022-08-16 04:53:20 +0000 UTCThey stated in the show that the dam wouldn't need maintenance for atleast another 100 years. And in that 100 years, who knows how many thousands and thousands of years could go by inside the sublime. Also, these aren't just "gamer" servers we're dealing with here, I'd imagine they would last a fair amount of time before needing any sort of checking up on.

2022-08-16 04:51:00 +0000 UTCi think your full length reaction ended too quick

2022-08-16 03:45:54 +0000 UTCThe story because i wasn’t totally sold on this ending because the sublime isn’t on some sort of futuristic signal or frequency that will just last forever it’s on servers that any gamer knows could crash at any moment especially now nobody’s maintaining them along with maintaining the dam the humans left on earth can outlast the folks in the sublime it’s only the time difference that is of consequence
2022-08-16 01:28:37 +0000 UTCI want this to be a prequel to the matrix when it's all over. It won't happen though because the owners of both properties are cowards!!!!!!!!!

2022-08-16 00:57:12 +0000 UTCI suppose this is a good place as any to ask this. I couldn't get through season 3. It seemed they were using the same tropes & the timeline shifting started to bother me. Is it worth it to binge the show again to catch up for season 5? Appreciate the feedback.
