2022-07-29 10:20:35 +0000 UTCSince Everyone is talking about Batman winning the poll it got me thinking about how the actual votes break down, like I am genuinely curious how the votes are divided. Are their two camps of people one that votes only for anime and one that votes only for western animation shows or is it more mixed then that. If we all only got one pick would a different show win and so on. I know they will likely never put out the numbers on that stuff cause of the shitstorm it would create but my need for data makes me wish they would lol.

2022-07-26 08:40:28 +0000 UTCI don't think blind wave owes it to anyone to change up how they run their animation polls, and just because some people are getting upset (some are getting too upset and making fools of themselves) over the fact that western animation shows keep winning these polls, I think some people just need to realize that they are very popular with their audience, hence why they keep winning. Obviously people are voting for them in the annual big show poll as well, which is why so many of them wind up on the polls. That being said, I do think if they ever were to change their animation polls the best way would be to make 1 just anime, 1 just western, and 1 a mix of both (even though anime only fans would still be just as upset as they are now if a western show ended up winning the mixed poll). I don't know if this would even help solve any of the problems some of you are complaining about, but it's just an option

2022-07-25 08:37:24 +0000 UTCThe problem I think is that they put anime and western animations in the same poll. They should just separate because many people who enjoy western animations don’t enjoy anime and vice versa if they separate live action stuff why not separate the two types of animation

I skimmed through several comments on Batman episode 1 on YouTube and most, if not all, of the comments I saw were people being very excited for the show. Whereas in these Patreon comments most are negative. I was hoping for a shorter show but I'm not mad about Batman winning. I just bought the entire series on bluray on Prime Day so the timing kinda worked out. It will just take some time for them to get through.

Is the current format with long running shows being chosen constantly a bit unsatisfactory? Sometimes. But ya'll really be acting out of line insulting each other/BW. Its funny but also embarrassing, clean it up.
