This is a really hard one, but I've finally decided. I vote for Matt... No, wait, Tom. No, Matt. Tom! Matt! Tom! Ma-- Tom-- Ma.... Initiating self-destruct :P

Tom Cavanagh's whispery voice was good for season 1, but now it feels very over done. It's starting to grate on me that every time we see Eobard now, it's not his true face. I feel like Matt brings a lot more range to the character. "Now who's the villain, Flash?! NOW WHO'S THE VILLAIN?!"

Not related to Reverse Flash, but FYI on the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, there was indeed a bomb that was thrown at his car, but bounced off the folded back convertible cover into the street. It detonated under the next car and wounded 20 people. The sandwich break taken by the other assassin though -- creative license ;)

Both are great but I go with Letscher since he’s Thawne’s real face and we don’t see him as often, it’s like a special treat. I’ve also grown to hate Thawn for always using Wells’s face, he doesn’t deserve to wear it!

Tom's performance in Season 1 of Flash worked perfectly but for every other time Eobard has been involved in the story I've preferred Matt. Tom just works better as Thawne when no one knows he's Thawne.

Cavanagh is good but he only play it one way. Sinister and in control. Letscher can be evil but give the character more range of emotions like scared or able to have a beer and chill. I prefer the range.

Tom has been truly amazing but it’s a hell of a disservice for the original actor who is Reverse Flash’s real face

Tom was at his best in Flash S1. I liked his next few appearances of RF after that, but his performance in S1 was just legendary. However, Matt did an amazing job as RF in every Arrowverse scene he played in, at least to me. So it's either Tom's original adaptation, or all of Matt's adaptations. It's tough, but I'm gonna go with Matt.

Im always happy to see reverse flash but tom just brings something special to the role he feels more menacing and obsessed with barry than whenever matt is onscreen

I am going with matt I feel like if we take tom and matt reverse flash and put them both on the flash and legends matt would do great on both shows while tom wouldn’t work on legends.

Tom was great as the scheming, in the shadows Thawne, but I always liked Matt more as the evil "Action-Thawne". Also the huge number of times Tom was used for no reason kinda soured his performance for me.

It used to be Tom in of flash season 1 and crisis on earth c but over the years they keep making his character less threatening and his dialogue worse Matt had a much shorter run and he was absolutely perfect and he hasn’t been around long enough for the shows flash/legends to mess him up yet. I’m not sure if I liked him in this episode but I didn’t actually watch the episode yet so I can’t judge

I feel Tom Cavanaugh was perfect for older Thawne when he had to be sneaky and conniving conveying an almost paternal role for the flash in season 1. Since then I feel like Matt was always perfect for the mania and emotional instability that the Reverse Flash always needed. I feel as though Tom’s performance isn’t as good unless he has a series of complex emotions that he is playing for the character. But even then I feel his performance at this point has become a Caricature of itself

If you asked me this after The Flash Season 1 I probably would have said Cavanaugh. But now I honestly think I'm a bit tired of him. Also Letscher does a really good job. I loved him in Legends Season 2
