I find it funny that people care about the naruto reactions to begin with. Just go over to the normies. They suck up to the series and ignore most of its problems so they have annoying but satisfied naruto fans over there. They also do 2 reactions a week. Woohoo for you.

2021-10-20 00:15:01 +0000 UTCThere are two reasons really for why Emilia should do the trial, one obvious and another not so: Obvious - She is the candidate for the royal selection and if she did it, it would garner her more support. Not so obvious - Emilia at this point if you just look over the chronology of what happened since she broke out of the ice, everyone hating her, not being able to remember what happened to the other elves that were turned to ice, is a barely stable person both emotionally and mentally, held together only by Puck and only recently by Subaru too. At the ending of season 1 she was just able to accept the fact that someone other than puck could really care for her and that's just one of her issues. She isn't self-reliant, at all. Now shenanigans are gonna ensue, especially since suddenly Puck up and dipped. In more general sense Re:Zero is fundamentally a series about character/personal growth and that doesn't only apply to subaru. Literally all of the character and I mean ALL of them have some serious baggage, as do most people in real life and the story is about them overcoming them. Sometimes they relapse into old habits, since people don't completely fix their issues in an instant and sometimes they even develop more issues. To make it even shorter, Emilia needs to pass the trials or she'll end up at a dead end in her life and I don't say it because she'll be stuck in the sanctuary P.S. Crushe definitely was the best choice in the beginning from what we know, however there is an issue. Even if her personality is more or less the same, the reason she wanted to become the next ruler was a very personal one, that filled her with conviction and motivation. That is gone now, completely, she can't remember why she's even in the election. Right now she's just going with it, only because from her point of view she kinda has to.
