Batwoman 2x18 Finale - Poll!

They did the best they could have without being able to use the actress and I feel satisfied with what they did with that in mind. That said, there is no way for her story to be completely satisfied because this is so not the way her story was intended to go but that obviously can't be helped. I legitimately loved this whole season start to finish.

I'm satisfied, I honestly have liked Ryan more than Kate so far as Batwoman, Butif she ever comes back I wouldn't be against it

Season 1 was more about Bruce, Kate writing to Bruce. trying to find out what happened to Bruce, while saving Gotham. Her leaving at the end of Season 2 too look for Bruce make sense because now she can look for Bruce while the city is safe. The only issue this bring up what happens when Bruce returns.

That's a tough question to answer. I was satisfied with what I was given, but what I was given is not necessarily what I wanted. Imagine Eric calls you and tells you dinner is on him tonight. When he comes to your place with the food, he hands over some fast food. You eat it, you're full, you're satisfied. Were you expecting fast food for dinner? Probably not. This is how I feel with Batwoman season 2. I like it, but it could have been better. Even with the problems they had, there are things they could have changed that I would have preferred. That is off course if I am properly understanding the direction they want to take Alice.

It kinda felt like an excuse for her to leave no where did Bruce come up in this story now she feels more compelled to look to redeem herself doesn’t feel a natural direction to me

That’s what I thought was weird. The show runners came out and said the whole reason why they were gonna do a new batwoman was because they weren’t recasting Kate. And than a few episodes into the season and they recast her. If they were gonna recast the entire time why didn’t they just have her keep being batwoman. What was the point of the Ryan character if Kate was still gonna be in the season.

I wish they sent Kate to search for Bruce early then focused on Ryan taking the legacy. Keeping Kate around distracted from Ryan.

It does make sense because people are tired of the "Bury your gays" trope. Ryan is allowed to not forgive Alice and there is no reason for her to end up with the team. Alice is still a murderer and even when she got her memories back she was still killing people.

Honestly, I was okay with the fact that she left Gotham to go find Bruce or whatever, but I was less okay with how they made Circe disappear. I truly think that Ruby Rose is the one and only Kate Kane in this show, and it was sad to see her go. But at this point, I feel like the show would be at least a little more liked if they just let her die. There would be more room for story, and we wouldn't have to have high hopes that Ruby and/or Kate will return.

it makes no sense. if they were just going to get rid of her then she could have been actually dead the whole time and we could have skipped all this unneccesary brainwashing mess especially when it didnt lead to anything. alice didnt end up with the team, ryan never forgave her, kate and alice never had their moment of reconciliation..............STUPID

I know that they had to scramble when the lead actress quit but I kind of think that they would have been better off just having Kate either die in the plane crash or went back to being Batwoman at the end. Now either they screwed the pooch or they ended it with Kate going to look for Bruce to leave the possibility of bringing Batman to the CW. Which might be what they are doing since Superman and Lois are doing so well. Maybe we get a Bat family in the future... Who knows.

While I don't think the writing on this show compares to Superman & Lois or even past seasons of the Flash and Arrow, I did enjoy this season and I believe it finished on a high note. Interested to see Season 3 with Luke in his suit.

I don't blame the show but I'm not suprised that I dont like how Kate's story ended.

I don’t watch the show but the fact they had to deal with losing their main actress means they should be forgiven if the story was a bit weak in my opinion
