Gaara’s backstory really is a two part issue. He was tormented at night by the Shukaku, then ostracised by the village during the day, because of incidents that were caused by his deteriorating mental state. Gaara’s only escape from these two hell’s was when he was with his Uncle the last person who he believed truly loved and cared for him Then when his Uncle tried to kill him Gaara finally snapped and started caring only about killing other people. In every other traumatic backstory the person has had somebody to rely on, Naruto had Iruka, Haku had Zabuza, but no one was willing to stand by Gaara and say he’s not a monster

There are some amazing episodes after for sure, but these are my personal favorites. I remember watching week by week when it came out dealing with the questionable pacing and finally when this episode came i was so hyped.

Also if you have your currency set to something other than USD, that might cause it to not work for whatever reason so try going to manage memberships on patreon and edit your pledge to blind wave and choose USD and try the website again.
