The crew rated Naruto a C and at the point they're at in Naruto I agree with them. There are some bad pacing issues in an otherwise great arc. However, I think when this arc is finished and when they start with the other arcs their opinion will change. The pacing later in Naruto seems to, for me at least, get better. Still... peak Naruto is Shippuden.

I dropped it after season 2 part 1. I hated it but that's just me. If people like it, that is totally fine. I personally hated the hell out of it. 4/10 anime for me

As someone who thinks Naruto is decent but has a lot of problems no one should complain about them not liking a lot of things this series has. They must not be like the normies where they act all goody two shoes about anything that happens in naruto since so many naruto stans are up their asses all the time about anything that has to do with the series it is understandable that they don't want more problems with them. They aren't Nahid who shows love and clear bias no matter what.

As a huge Naruto fan this is the moment that no one should complain about them not liking something in it lmao the 3rd vs Orochimaru is just absolutely horrendous pacing but i also think its hilarious and im glad Eric gets a kick out of it too 😂 besides that this is a great episode

Shippuden was pretty bad too. (Minor spoilers) remember that one episode that was just Naruto and Orochimaru staring each other down for 20 minutes interrupted by random flashbacks?

I started Naruto at a great time, I didn’t notice the pacing because the day I decided to watch it there was a marathon on CN. I just watched it back to back. Shippuden was different because the pacing got better. I’ve only come to realize this is a issue by watching reactors

Naruto is one of my favorite anime and I'm annoyed when their reaction ends each week with nothing new happening. There's nothing wrong with his rant as someone watching this for the first time. He didn't grow up watching this Era of anime so why should he care?

Naruto, there are pacing issues. It's a flaw of the era of anime it comes from. However Calvin's "rant" on the struggle being boring, I don't agree with. I think he is forgetting that this is all happening quickly, so what may be weeks in watching is still the same day for them. And we only cut to them for 20 seconds.

Just a point of clarification, when Ram strikes Subaru with the wind magic after Rems death, the flash back cut to when he gets his throat sliced is to signify that it was in fact Ram that kills him during the torture scene and not Rem. Ram does this as a way of mercy killing him because she doesn't want to see him being tortured and that's why Rem exclaims that her sister is too nice. Most people usually miss this detail due to it being shown rather than told but it never gets properly explained throughout the rest of the series so I thought it best to bring it up.

rezero is making me a poor man spending an entire 15 dollars on it lmao.... Literally the only thing I am here for right now besides maybe trying the full length MHA reactions and possibly trying the JJK reactions but even though I liked it and it has good writing it is just another shonen series about demons and it doesn't appeal to me like rezero has. So basically just this and it sucks I only get one a week now lol.
