This comment is amazing you just said what I was thinking while watching. Great job your comment is great and explains it so well I agree with you so much :)

Rosemarie

A REAL Mandalorian should rule Mandalore, so it should be Bo-Katan. I don't care about the whole "it's a creed" thing, Mandalorians are from Mandalore and Concord Dawn, and that's it.

Darth Skhorrn

Seems like Bo Katan keeps f-ing up at ruling Mandalore. Bring in the fresh blood and have our Mando Din have a crack at it

Tony Ramos

Bo also joined a terriost group whose entire purpose was deposing her sister

CommanderL

My own view is Bo Katan has had three tries at being mandalore and each time lead to failure

CommanderL

As much as I liked the BoKatan character in CW and Rebels, something about her portrayal in Mando just seems off. She’s always been aggressive but now she’s vengeful too. I wouldn’t be surprised if Din holds onto the blade for a while and hopefully s3 goes hardcore into the Mandalore trilogy material from CW. They could legit tie in via flashbacks etc, the new ObiWan and Ahsoka shows- which hopefully will lead us to love action Thrawn/Ezra.

Just a question I remember hearing that they were gonna make episodes 7-9 not canon anymore. So if thats true which I doubt but if it is could we have a whole new storyline with Luke training baby yoda.

Chris D. Jones

Bo seems to be really hungry for power, and i'm not sure if i'm a fan of that. But i do think she is probably going to be the one that ends up with it in the end

Steffen K

I can't say for sure who should have it, but it's almost like Din's character test with Grogu proved that he deserves to rule Mandalore. He's a protector. He's willing to sacrifice his own life for those under his protection. And he has never sought power. Power found him, and even then, he's been too humble to accept.

But only a few "old way" fanatics from Death watch actually knew he was the one in charge. The public did not even know he existed, let alone that he held the darksaber. The one "in charge" was the corrupt former prime ministr.

Sojtus

I mean, if Maul was able to rule Mandalore just holding the dark saber, pretty sure there would be no problem with Boba.

The Pebble

Sabine!

I kinda don´t feel like any of them are really fit to be a ruler. Bo has already tried several times and always failed. Din is way too inexperienced. And Boba is more fit to rule as acrime boss, than rule over a nation, nor does it seem like he would have been easily accepted as mandalor.

Sojtus

You know why Din deserves to be king, because he doesnt want it. Bo Katan has a feverish overzealous hunger to take back mandalore and while it first felt like a taking back our home type of feeling, it ended feeling like a someone who is eager to rule rather than to lead. Though if we get more of her side of this story I dont think i'd mind seeing her on the throne either.

Luc Meyers

I think it's gotta be Bo, Din I think has been too much of a "lone wolf" to want to be a leader, and not to mention it would really piss Bo off after everything she has done

Wildstar

I just don't think din wants to rule, he likes travelling about and not being stuck to one place

Demps 2002

I don't think Din nor Boba would be fit in a ruling position and I'm still of the opinion that Bo Katan forsook the mandalorian warrior culture by not acceptin Maul as the ruler. So I'll go ahead and vote someone else

Duke

Maybe b/c she wasn't able to untie all Mandalorians under her rule because she didn't get through combat. When Sabine showed her mom the darksaber, her mom asked if she beat Maul through single combat. When Sabine said no her mother stated she had no claim to it. Maybe other Mandos feel the same way. When Sabine just handed it to Bo-Katan they might of felt that she has no claim to it.

Trevor Darnell

I really think where Din is in his story that he would neither want to rule or make a good ruler. I can see him becoming her champion and being instrumental in bringing the various factions of Mandalorians together. But in the end, I believe Bo-Katan is the true and rightful ruler. Though seasons will tell...

Bunny Norris

There are none fit to rule.

Kelvin

As much as I'd LOVE to see Din's rule, Bo-Katan deserves it.

Bo has had her chances, as much as I love her character, her leadership style has been tested and proved to not be good enough for the state of the galaxy, it's time for a change and Din might be the perfect man for it, he's seen so many different perspectives and has grown from each viewpoint he has encountered, so if anyone can rebuild Mandalore it would be him

SWPlagueis

Sabine.

Alexander Mullins (Valathor95)

I am honestly confused why Bo-Katan agreed with Gideon on the duel part. As far as I remember, Sabine relinquished the Dark Saber to her. Not in combat, but because Sabine recognized she would not be a good ruler. I could be misremembering. If that’s true, then why didn’t she just take it from Din?

Liz Fritz

Din has no desire for it

Dan Frank

That's what I was thinking too maybe it's because they had all the other families there to support the decision, and at the time sabine had made the special weapon, yes she did redeem herself, bo katan still seemed apprehensive about taking the saber at that point if I remember correctly maybe she was wanting a do over, because it would be twice that she had been given the saber

Uhm, clone-baby-Yoda-Grogu. Trains as a Jedi, comes back and takes his rightful place in the Clan of Two, wins back the Dark Sabre AKA the Divine Rapier from Dota after fighting *somebody* to avenge the death of Din and becomes The Mandalorian. Was my prediction from basically the start of the show, still holds up. Mandalorians are a creed not a race - this is the way. Can't wait to see his beskar armour.

Martin Nicholls

No deserves it solely for the fact that that blade was used to murder her sister

Christian Bolda

I don't see what the issue is with Bo taking it from Din without a fight. Sabine gave it to her in the first place.

Kyle S

I think there was a plot point where Sabine didn't want to rule Mandalore because she felt she wasn't ready to be the leader. Maybe they pick that up again.

I think Bo, because she's sister if the Late Dutchess. Also how cool was it to see clone wars characters like Bo Katan alongside original trilogy characters like Luke and Boba!!! Star Wars is truly amazing 😍❤️

Bo because the dark saber storyline in rebels would be for nothing. Also I hope that ahsoka and luke meet up in the ahsoka series. How cool would that be.

Kevin Echeverria

Sabine, all day any day. Or Boba. Bo needs to know when enough is enough & Din clearly doesn't want it,

Karabast!!! We need live action Sabine 💕💕

Bo because Din would hate ruling Mandalore. Get the man a new ship and let him do his own thing!

Jeanette C

I find it funny that Bo Katan's squad called Mando's creed "fanatics" and an offshoot of true Mandalorians, but pretty much all of them are dead and gone now and Mando's branch has adapted to bounty hunting and survives on.

The Pebble

Just a side tangent but if Disney improved the digital Luke. Do you think George Lucas would laugh maniacally or roll over in his billions. :) Kinda hoping they improve it because you know someone on YouTube will do it better a week after the episode. : )

Cal

I want baby yoda or sabine to come back into the Mandolorian. Maybe a sabine vs bo for the dark saber.

Chase Gardner

I mean I guess Bo, but honestly I'm a little bit over the whole "Let's get back Mandalore" thing. This is what, their FOURTH time retaking Mandalore now? Who are they even retaking it from, if the Empire has seemingly been driven into hiding on ships and smaller outposts? And what is there left to retake after the Empire "turned it to glass" as Boba said? I kinda think Bo needs to learn to move on from reclaiming Mandalore, and instead focus on finding a new home and new purpose for its PEOPLE instead.

Wolf6120

I'm in the same boat... I feel like she could easily become the villain of the next season because she covets the Darksaber so much.

Shae (maorismurf)

Nobody has the "right to have it". As they've repeated over and over in the episode, you get it by defending it's wielder. And more often than not, the people that don't want to take a job because they don't think they are qualified enough, are usually the best person for the job.

Jo

My vote goes to Din. I havent watched that much of Clone Wars to have seen Bo Katan yet, so I'm judging her based on only the Mandalorian. And sadly I dont like her that much. She feels like she is trying to intimidate even her allies into listening and obeying her. So I view her as kinda a bully and I dont want to see her rule anything. But I'm fully prepared to change my mind about her once I see more of her in animated series though.

Lairdom

Definitely Grogu needs the Darksaber.

Red Claw

I kinda want bo to have it so she can rule mandalore while din rebuild the mandlorian order or have din run a mandalore bounty hunter clan.

spencer

Honestly, I kinda hope Din gets it. Din has proven himself to be a good father figure to Grogu and now having Grogu off his shoulders for a while might give him a chance to practice his leadership and fathering skills more

Joshua Barnhill

If not Bo, Sabine, if not her someone we haven't heard of. Maybe if Din grows more as a character it would be alright but I really dont think he would be a good leader.

Etsch

They could even have a romance between Din and Bo if they want. Then they would share the throne!

MajestNick

I feel like Din will hold it in waiting for Grogu, but will refuse to rule Mandalore due to his Founding status. Especially if someone explains to him it's history.

DarkDruid

I say Din has a greater purpose. He should lead Mandalore. He doesn't feel that he is owed the job and therefore he will be the best leader.

I’m pretty sure Bo not winning the Darksaber in combat the first time around is what lead to the splintering of Mandalore, but she is probably the only one who wants the job. I doubt Din would want to ever lead Mandalore... But if we’re giving the job to the reluctant then I vote for Sabine.

Sparda123

Gotta be Bo. She's the heiress.

Sam K

Din doesn’t even want it and it’s Bo’s right to have it

DC Fanboy

I mean Grogu needs a lightsaber... All am sayin'

Caleb

I think that the reason that Din removes his helmet at the same time that he's enabling the training of a new Force user while holding the Darksaber is because he's THE MANDALORIAN, and like Moff Gideon said: it's the story that matters. I think he's defining what creed will be for when they retake Mandalore.

Pierce Arner

I think it'd be cool for Din to keep it, but for Bo to lead.

Dr. Bobcat

It shouldn't be any of these, Bran is the top choice!

Irfan Malik

Din, sometimes the ones that want to be leaders the least, are the ones that become the best. Besides, having both Din and Boba ruling over famous factions would be really cool.

Yil

I think Din should have it, because I think people who don't want the throne but take it because they know it's needed make the best rulers. (See Aragorn, Son of Arathorn for proof)

I feel like Bo could get it, but I'd also like to see Sabine with it again, now that we know at least ahsoka is coming back, sabine hopefully will too.

Aleph Sharp

What if instead they destroy the Darksaber, breaking the cycle of violence and go back to the EU way of determining who will be Mandalore by forging a helm representing the new future for the Mandalorians? It would fit nicely as another seed for eventual Mandalorian Wars/Old Republic era content.

Semblance of Sanity

Grogu!

Andy F

Although Bo is after it, I feel like Din Djarin will use it and reclaim it for the Mandolorians, unintentionally becoming a leader of Mandalore.

I said Din Djarin, but I don’t know if he WANTS to.

Bo Katan! I feel like Din becoming the ruler is a bit too predictable.

awesomeusername

I'm not taking anyones word on this, I need to see the paperwork.

Sandra

Sorry Bo, I like you but you had your rule, we need someone who doesn't want the throne to rule Mandalore. P.S. I couldn't believe Luke was in the finale I was just joking when I said he will be in it.

Joel

Bo or Din, I dunno. I’m just so drained emotionally, physically and other “lly”. What a fucking finale!

lewis is your patron

I feel like Bo should have it boba and din don't care about it
