Some updates

Hello everyone, I hope you're all are doing well. As mentioned on the last release, I was taking it easy this month to rest up since I was feeling burn out from my job + working on Sovereign over the weekend. And to be honest, having some time to just relax and play game over the weekend (been grinding Monster Hunter Wild) without worrying about any deadline has done wonder, I feel much more refreshed now and even itching to get back to work on Sovereign.

I will be back to start working on the game next month. I will also hold a poll next month so you all can vote on which girls will be focus on for version 15. If we go by my usual 2 months release then version 15 will be out by end of May.

Sovereign version 14.0 Release

Hello everyone, here is Sovereign version 14.0. Honestly speaking, this release was rough on me. As mentioned previously, my job has required us to come back into the office full time now and on top of that we have also been asked to work overtime for some weekends. Then I totally forgot that February only has 28 days so that means if I want to get this release out before the month end it has to be today. I have to took today off from work to make sure I can get this out before the month end. So, unfortunately, I didn't have as much time to do a thorough testing. if there're any bugs or typos please excuse me and let me know in the discord channel.

Anyway,  with the rant out of the way, here are what's new in v14.

Changelog:

• Make sure to check the goals list from the phone to see all the contents you have not done yet.

• Start adding daily events to the goal list for Cathy, Evelyn, Dahlia, Reina and Olivia. I will continue to add the rest of the characters with updates down the line so at least player has some ideas what to do daily.

• 1 new influences and 1 new corruption events for Emily, includes new pose.

• Introduce a new interactable character.

• Update the daily events for Cathy, Evelyn, Dahlia, Reina and Olivia so that it match with their latest corruption/influence level.

• Add new actions to sexual favors menu when interacting with Cathy and Evelyn so you can view their sexual events.

As mentioned before, I will probably take a break from working on Sovereign in March. I'm starting to feel burn out and feel like overworking because of my main job in combination with working on Sovereign so I need to take a month off to rest and recharge.

Hello everyone, here are some SFW sneak peeks of what's coming up for v14.0.

As mentioned previously, this version will mainly focus on Emily. But aside from her, I will also introduce the last interactable character for now (you can see a preview of her from the pics). Then I have also update a few daily events with existing characters like Cathy, Evelyn, Olivia, Reina and Dahlia to match with their latest corruption level.

I aim to release 14.0 by next week before the month end.

Important announcement for Sovereign going forward as well as some update for version 14.0

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great new year. This is just an update on what's coming up for 14.0 and also want to share a bit, less than ideal, situation with the development of Sovereign going forward.

Version 14.0 is plan to be out by end of February and will focus on Emily. This should push her content to level 9 which as mentioned before, the higher the level a character get the more works need to be done since I would like to make their event longer than normal as well as needing to update their interaction, cloth, dialog, events etc. So I would like to focus just on Emily for this update instead of also focusing on other girls. With that say, 14.0 won't just be about Emily, I'm also planning to introduce the last interactable character into the game as well as all the update for Cathy, Evelyn, Reina, Dalia and Olivia events/interactions to match their latest level.

On another note, I also want to share something a bit more personal that will effect the development of Sovereign going forward. This is because of my actual job, I'm a programmer. FYI, I have a normal 8 to 5 job throughout week days and only have time to work on Sovereign on the weekend. For a while now, I was able to work from home and only have to come into the office one or twice a week, so my work load was not particularly taxing. However, since December last year, we were asked to come back into the office fulltime. This was why I took that 3 weeks vacation back in December. And to be honest with everyone, I am starting to feel burnout. Having to drive to work on the entire week days and then still need to work on Sovereign on the weekend make me realize how valuable the weekend was to rest up and relax. I mentioned before that I started making Sovereign because it's something I enjoyed doing rather than for any monetary reason. I don't want to turn this into something to stress me out. I hope this burnout won't effect version 14.0 since I already committed to that release date. But afterward I will have to see how to handle this going forward. If need to, I can close/pause patreon so that I won't have the pressure of hitting certain deadline for updates and can just work on the game whenever I feel like etc. Whatever I decided to do, know that I won't abandoned the game, but rather just changing my approach on development cycle.

Sovereign version 13.0 Release

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Here is version 13.0. Unfortunately, there were some issues found during testing around Cathy and Reina interaction update so I have to pull them out of 13.0 to make sure I can get this out before year end. All new contents tested fine so they all here. Check the changelog for more details.

Changelog:

• 1 new influence and 1 new corruption event for Evelyn

• Update on Evelyn's masturbation's event

• 1 new influences and 1 new corruption events for Dahlia

• 1 new random event for Dahlia

• 2 new corruption events for Oliva

• 2 new influence events for Tori

• 1 new special event for Tori

•  2 new items to buy from department store in downtown

• Fumiko is now an interactable character after completing Tori new events

Now let get on to what's coming for 14.0. As usual, I will aim for a two months release, with January focusing on updating existing events and interactions to match with characters' new level. Cathy and Reina new interactions should be fix by then as well as updating interactions/daily events for Evelyn, Dahlia and Olivia. Then February will focus on new content, this time with Emily for the household girl and the rest will be up to vote as usual.

Some updates before my vacation

Hi all,

Hope everyone is having a good day. As mentioned before, I will be going on a vacation for the last week of November and half of December. During this time I will be away from my PC so I will most likely not able to get any work done for Sovereign. So version 13.0 will be release by end of December.

I will be getting on the plane tomorrow so just want give everyone a bit of an update before my leave. So far, I was able to completed the new influence/corruption event for Evelyn as well as 2 new corruption events for Olivia. I have also updated some events and action with Cathy and Reina to match their latest corruption level. There're still new events for Dahlia and Tori that need to be work on which I will get to one I'm back from vacation.

Anyway, that's it for now. Just want to give everyone an update since there were a few people who asked me if there will be a release in November.

13.0 New Main Girls Winner

And here is the result for version 13.0 new main girl voting. Like Dahlia before, Tori is also won by a wide margin so she will be the focus for version 13.0. As mentioned before, aside from the winner of this poll, I will also be working on 2 new corruption level events for Olivia as well for version 13.0.

As a reminder, version 13.0 will be out by end of December since I will be on vacation for most of November.  

13.0 Old Main Girls Winner

Well the result are in and it look like Dahlia won with a pretty wide margin. So she will definitely has her content update for 13.0. In second spot is Jeanne, which depend on how busy I might be in December, I will see if I can give her some update as well.

Sovereign version 12.0 Release

Hello everyone, here is version 12.0. It took a bit longer than I hoped but I still manage to completed it before September end.

Changelog:

• 1 new influence and 1 new corruption event for Cathy

• 2 new influences and 2 new corruption events for Dahlia

• 1 new influence and 1 new corruption event for Reina

• 2 new influences events for Oliva

• A new job at the school after completed control level 30 event

• A new suspicion system associated with the school work

• A new encounter system associated with the suspicion counter

• Able to learn new skill from Zack after completed control level 30 event

• Raise the cap for strength and intelligent to 60

With 12.0 out of the way. I will be focusing on what's next for 13.0. I planned to get some of the interactions and dialog for some of the characters up to space (particularly Cathy and Reina), as well as the usual update for the girls (Evelyn will be the main girl focus since Cathy won the poll last time). Like before there will be a poll for the old girls and a poll for the new girls that patrons can vote for 13.0 in October.

On other news, I will be taking a vacation in November, around 3 weeks, out of the country. Mostly to get away from my actual job and refresh my mind. Unfortunately, this also means that I won't have access to my PC so I won't be able to work on the game at all for most of November. With that in mind, I plan to have version 13.0 to be release in December instead, at the year end.

Hi everyone, here is a little SFW preview of what's coming up for 12.0.

As mentioned before, the character to be focus on for this update will be Cathy, Reina, Dahlia and Olivia. Aside from this, lot of new stuffs added to the general gameplay as well like new job that you can do to make money, suspicion and enemy encounter system, learning new skills etc.

I'm aiming to get this release out by next weekend.

Votes results

With the polls closed, we now have the results for which girls to be focus on for version 12.0. For the household girls, Cathy won the vote. For the old main girls, Reina won the vote. And for the new main girls, Olivia won the vote. So those three for sure will have their content update on version 12.0. Now if I have extra time and resources, I might work on another old main girl or new main girl who came second, or just might add in even more event/content for the girl who won the vote. Will have to see how September turn out.

Some update on version 12.0

Hello everyone, as August passing it midpoint, just want to give some update on version 12.0. For August, I have been and will be mostly focus on working on the gameplay and technical side of the game. Like the new school approval system, suspicion and encounters with thug, learning new martial art etc. Then in September I will be working on the new contents for the girls.

I have also added 3 different poll for patrons to vote for which characters to be focus on for version 12.0. So make sure to vote if you're a patron.

All in all, I'm still on track to release 12.0 by end of September.

Version 12.0 will start having update for the new girls that were introduced in version 11.0 as well (Isabelle is being save for later). Depend on how much work Evelyn or Cathy level 7 might take (which could be a lot based on how much Emily level 7 took), I might work on 1 or 2 girls. Do remember that patrons with higher tier has extra bonus voting power that won't be display here, so whatever result you see here doesn't properly reflect on the actual winner. Sovereign version 11.0 Release

Hello everyone, here is version 11.0. As mentioned this update is to focus on moving the main story forward and introduce 5 new characters. I also spend quite some time cleaning up content for Evelyn, Cathy, Alyssa and Jeanne. Doesn't sound like much as far as new content go but it's works that need to be done.

Changelog:

• New main story event for when you reached control level 30 and talk to George.

• 5 new characters with their own schedules, icons, portraits, interactions.

• 1 new daily special even for Evelyn

• Update on Evelyn photo shoot event to properly reflect her outfit/level.

• Evelyn, Cathy, Alyssa and Jeanne all has their own specific interaction dialog now instead of generic one.

• Update to Evelyn, Cathy, Alyssa and Jeanne portrait with new makeup and pose for their latest corruption level.

On to what I'm planning for next release. With the main story out of the way, the next release will be back to focusing on content for the girls. I will have a poll next month for patrons to vote for which girl to be focus on for 12.0. I will probably have one poll for the family girls, one for the old main girls and one for the new main girls so that new content can be spread out.

Aside from that, I also need to add in the new job system at the school, a new suspicion system after control story level 30 event, learning new skill from Zach etc. So still quite a lot of stuffs to implement for the gameplay after the new main event.

All in all, I'm aiming to release 12.0 end of September .

Preview of 11.0

Hi everyone, here're some preview images of what's coming up in version 11.0. As mentioned before, this version main focus is to move the main story forward. This will also serve as an introduction to five new characters that you can interact with. Like other main characters, their content will be add incrementally with new updates. Aside from that, some update on Alyssa, Jeanne, Cathy and Evelyn portrait and dynamic events to match more with their proper influence/corruption level.

I'm aiming to release version 11.0 by this weekend, probably Saturday or Sunday. At worse, I will make sure it's release before the month end.
