Normally I am hard against editing/removing OPs/Eds from reaction for "spoilers" (I still don't see how they are any different from the countless movie/tv trailers the watch) But as much as I love Hyori Ittai, I'm kinda glad they chose not to show it to the crew, it basically told me how this story was going to end, the symbolism is not subtle in it.

You have to take account that Blind Wave takes notes and watch close captions. The chances that one of them would catch on to a certain reveal is really high, especially since BW has speculated on that possibility in the past MHA reactions. Judging from past reactions I know when season 5 started and dropped that big reveal the whole crew would talk about how that reveal would have been better if they hadn’t found out about it in the movie first. It make sense for them to just wait until they at least get through the second arc in season 5 before they react to the movie.

I’m up to date on the manga (just finished 291 😮). There is nothing in the movie they don’t already know or suspect because of hint drops in the show. I think I know which one (from that list u posted) u r talking about and “if” u didn’t pick up on it in the show (they tell u but in a very subtle way) then it might come as a “revelation” but it’s not a “spoiler”. That’s all I’m getting at. If you’ve seen to the end of season 4 this movie gives u nothing extra but does “confirm” things they’ve been hinting at since season 1

And that’s my point 🤦‍♂️ The movie is a spoiler for those who went to see it “when it came out”. If you’ve seen to the end of season 4 (which blindwave has) then nothing in this movie is a spoiler.

Yes, and I know which one u are talking about in that list. But it’s not a spoiler actually, before my 10th watch through (it’s my 10yr old daughters fav anime so I’ve seen all 4 seasons over 20 times now) I figured it out because they actually give u small hints in the show. Nothing about the movie says anything that u don’t already know or have assumed because of overwhelming evidence.

The movie as a whole may not be canon, but there are story elements in it that do appear in both anime and manga which are canon. BW wants to go into what they watch completely blind, so that's what they decided.

Yes, I know “when” it takes place in the MHA universe but there aren’t any spoilers in the movie about the show plus it’s a movie... so it’s not cannon. There’s really no reason at all to wait 🤷‍♂️
