!!! Maximum Carnage & Maximum Skeletons Update !!!

Hello Everyone, here is the link for the new betas. I updated the troll skeleton. This includes the Rouge Shot troll patches.

Maximum Carnage has the new Troll effects. Slow-mo should work better now. Also, I made a couple tweaks to the hit tracking system. As always, if you use any of the male body patches, make sure update those as well.

MC Enhanced: Troll Preview 1

Hello Everyone, the Troll effects are now up and running. I still have to add the other variants but, as you can see, everything is working perfectly.

On a side note, I fixed the slow-mo bug. It now works as intended. Also, it doesn't stack like before, so no more being stuck in slow-motion for an extra second or two.

Update: !!! Maximum Carnage & Maximum Skeletons !!!

Hey All, I just uploaded new betas, if you want to test them out. MC and MD now adds enhanced effects for Hagravens. I also fixed a VR related bug. There still might be a problem while using Weapon Throw VR, if so, just let know in the comments.

These are both new versions, so make sure to follow the updating procedure if you playing on an existing save.

Hey Everyone, I made another quick update to MC. With help from (saint) Nick Adler, I was able to fix weapon hits not registering in Skyrim VR. Initially, I had only fixed the issue for humanoids. Now, it should work for all enhanced NPC types.

Like before, I just made a couple of adjustments to the SKSE plugin, so you should be able to just replace the old files with the new ones, no updating procedure needed.

Hello Everyone, I just uploaded a new beta version of Maximum Carnage (v8.2.2). This one has support for VR weapon strikes. Just so you know, I wasn't able to test this because I don't have VR. So It may work better, maybe not. Either way, let me know in the comments. Also, I made a couple changes to the gore trigger conditions. This should help with those who wanted less bisections. Where you hit them is still the determining factor but this update should help a bit.

!! Maximum Carnage Update !!

Greetings Everyone, I just uploaded a new beta if you want to test it out. This one has SKSE controlled humanoid killmoves. Also, I lowered the gore meter just a bit more for those who thought too much gore was triggering. Lastly, I fixed the bug that caused the player to not register for gore effects after loading a save. If you are still having issues however, let me know in the comments or message me.

MC Enhanced: Humanoid Killmoves Preview

Hey Everyone, I was finally able to get humanoid killmoves running through SKSE. As you can see the the preview GIFs, the gore effects are more accurate and, in some cases, multiple effects can be applied. I might tweak a thing or two more but, other than that, it's working great.

Humans vs Draugr

Hey Everyone, here is a clip I made to show that the latest beta is working as intended. As you can see in the video, you can spawn and kill humanoids multiple times without issue. Also, the game doesn't crash while killing Draugr. I know some of you have been experiencing CTD in these instances. I'm not sure why but we'll figure it out.

Hey Everyone, switch to the update I just uploaded ASAP. Draugr are causing CTD. Why? As I'm finding out, if you don't clearly define every single thing to Visual Studio, the code can get mangled during compilation and cause weird things to happen. In this case, the plugin wasn't able to read a simple string array. Also, I fixed the slow-mo stacking on multi-kills.

Like before, I just made changes to the plugin so you can just replace the old files with the new ones.

Hey All, I was able to fix both the major bugs. The save loading issue was a problem for sure but I finally figured out a solution. Hey, it's going to be another day before the new beta is ready. I'm still having one issue. Which is, when you load a save game, any NPC in the area won't reregister for gore effects. The only fix I found so far is to leave the area (cell) then return. Apparently, the only thing Skyrim detects when you load a save, is that you loaded a save. It's not that big of a deal because you can just leave and return. However, if I can find a work around, all the better.

Hey Everyone, a couple Patrons and I discovered a !! MAJOR BUG!! in Maximum Carnage.

Basically, after restarting your game or loading a save, MC will stop working. This is because the needed forms aren't loading and NPCs aren't reregisting to receive gore effects.

I've already solved the forms not loading bug. I'm working on the NPCs not registering on save load now. I should have the fix available sometime later today or first thing tomorrow.

Hello Everyone, I just updated and uploaded the newest Maximum Carnage beta (v8.0). I added three new target points to the hit tracking system. This should help gore to trigger more around the chest area. I noticed that Skyrim targets limbs (arms, legs, head) really well but the torso seems to be harder to hit for some reason. Either way, this update to the plugin should help with that a bit.

Hello Everyone, below is the new link to the latest betas. I fixed a bug in MS that caused Falmer Skulkers to be partially invisible. Also, I removed the fo-modders folder so it doesn't conflict with MO2.

For MC, I added enhanced Giant, Lurker and Humanoid effects. I had to make a separate SKSE plug-in for Next-Gen Decapitations to work with MC. You can find it in the "Patches" folder if you need it.

Hello Everyone, here is a quick status update for you. I was sick for about a week so I'm a bit behind schedule. I should still have a new beta ready by months end however. This will include the Giant/Lurker enhanced effects as well as Humanoid.

For humanoids, I'm just using the existing effects (for now). So it shouldn't take long to add them to the SKSE plugin. Also, I'm going to make it so decapitations are compatible with both vanilla and the Next Gen Decapitations mod.

Hello Everyone, I just uploaded the latest betas for Maximum Carnage and Maximum Skeletons to the google drive. This new version has enhanced effects for Falmer as well as the addition of arrow gore. In fact,nit should work with all ranged weapons, including staffs. These are both new versions, so make sure to follow the updating instructions.

MC Enhanced : Falmer Preview

Okay, the Falmer effects are finished. They came out really well, if I may say so myself. I personally like the more accurate kill-move gore.

Also, geometry, it works. As a result, you'll now be able to better slice through your enemies. As you can see in the bottom right preview, I was able cut through the waist and left arm in one strike.

I'm going to take a small break to enjoy Christmas. Then it's back to business. I think I'm doing giants next. We'll see.

Hello Everyone, here is a quick update for you. I have a Maximum Carnage update coming in a day or two. I was going to post it after I finished the Falmer effects (which are done). But then, I started working on a new hit tracking system. This new one will basically allow you to slice through your enemies, severing multiple limbs in the process. Hey Everyone, here is a quick update for you. I decided to hold off on making patches for Maximum Carnage and, instead, focus on creating enhanced effects for all the vanilla NPCs first. That way, we'll have a complete mod to beta test and look for bugs. I already started on Falmer. The females are done so it's just the males left to do.

Afterwards, I'm going to upload a new beta to the google drive. This will include the Falmer as well as arrows triggering gore.

Someone asked if I could add this. I was going to wait to do it but, since it was as easy as making a couple script changes, I decided to go ahead and get it out of the way.
