Or the helmet has tech that extends his field of vision.

2020-11-21 00:07:43 +0000 UTCYes, I specifically believe that whe will start being more open in season 3 after the season 2 finale will probably give him some reson to remove the helmet infront of someone (probably the baby) and he will thereafter start to remove his helmet infront of just them.
2020-11-20 00:44:24 +0000 UTCLittle theory, the way that Mando has been able to protect the child from things he's unable to see like the squid last episode, I think he might be a force user disguised as a 'badass in a western'
William Marston
2020-11-19 21:45:01 +0000 UTCThis is the way, more intimidating.
TheLastSenzuBean
2020-11-17 22:32:45 +0000 UTCNo I think he's seen too many instances now of "false" mandalorians during this season that he might be clinging on his "Way" more as a result. He'd need a very good reason to do so. Maybe to stuff baby Yoda in it to protect him lol.
2020-11-17 19:24:34 +0000 UTCNot yet in any case, probably more of a season finale/premiere type of deal. And I can foresee that not happening for at least another season, he would have to have time to process this identity crisis and talk to more actual Mandalorians.

2020-11-17 14:16:23 +0000 UTCHey Eric & Aaron, it's Amunet, Bakshi, and Felix Blake!
David Brown
2020-11-16 16:20:44 +0000 UTCNot yet. Death Watch still means a lot to him - a couple of conversations won't change that. I expect his pre-existing views will be challenged over the rest of the season, and taking his helmet off will be in the denoument for the season.
Ian P
2020-11-16 07:58:27 +0000 UTCYes he should because we see now that he was brainwashed by Death Watch. It wouldn't be an interesting story if his beliefs are never tested.
My5head
2020-11-16 06:36:50 +0000 UTCI want The Child to see his face because the scene would probably be all sweet and precious and make me cry. Also, I'd like to see more of his handsome face.
Sarah Eliza B
2020-11-16 00:47:36 +0000 UTCI see him as becoming more open to other ways of being Mandalorian and to being willing to support the restoration of Mandalore under a different way. I could even see him eventually getting to a position where he's willing to defend Bo-Katan from the Watch, if it comes to that. But I see him never abandoning his personal code, even if it would make him an outsider. Question to you: Do you think [CHARACTER MENTIONED AT THIS EPISODE'S END] will refer to the Child as "Baby Yoda"? Not as an official name, but just calling him "Baby Yoda" or "a Baby Yoda," at least once? I could see it happening.
E. P. Haury
2020-11-15 21:39:34 +0000 UTCI mean.. if were Mando, and Katie Sackhoff asked me to take off my helmet from time to time, I would... i'm not a shipper, but i kinda wanna see that happen lol so i guess i am a shipper now :D
Sir
2020-11-15 18:05:33 +0000 UTCI like the look of Mando in the full suit but I wouldn't be apposed to seeing Pedro more. Also, does anyone think that Mando will get a paint job for his armor? Do you want him to paint his armor? And if so, how would you like it to look?
Reid Medeiros
2020-11-15 10:42:51 +0000 UTCI'd prefer he not, but I assume that's where we're headed for real world reasons. Spoiler-filled question related to Rebels... What are the odds we see Lothal in this show? I mean, the last we saw of Ahsoka she was there and I assume if we're seeing her now it's before she left with Sabine. So what are the chances he goes to where Bo last knew she was only to find that she's left to go to Lothal and he has to follow her there?
Aquitaine
2020-11-15 06:13:59 +0000 UTCHe doesn't need to as far as I'm concerned. We've bought into him enough already without him keep taking his helmet off so far, so why now? Once is fine with me.........This is the way.
Reddevilman77
2020-11-15 00:09:09 +0000 UTCIts not in his creed, I dont see Mando taking on Clone Wars Mandalorian creed. He was a foundling to the old ways extremists so it was burned into him. He takes pride in being a Mandalorian so he will uphold his creed. Thats, is the way
The Das
2020-11-14 22:08:55 +0000 UTCNot removing the helmet has nothing to do with protecting their identity. It’s just a part of the Mandalorian code
Rudy Strother
2020-11-14 19:09:59 +0000 UTCI soooooo wanted him to take his helmet off when they were all doing it but..... "this is not the way."
2020-11-14 19:07:52 +0000 UTCNot related to the poll but if Bo-katan is the last of her line, what happened to Korkie?
Savitar
2020-11-14 17:59:55 +0000 UTCYes, but I would like to add that the whole theory of "Not taking off the mask to hide your identity" never made sense in the first place, since their armor IS their identity lmao. Like "Yes wear a helmet to hide your identity, but also only Mando's wear those helmets, and you must always be seen in it"... just a funny thought I had.
Eleven Claws
2020-11-14 17:46:32 +0000 UTCI just wanna see more Pedro Pascal cuz he's so great
Brandon Brenlla
2020-11-14 17:22:26 +0000 UTCI think he will keep to the way he was raised, but realize that there is more than one way to be a Mandalorian.
Ethan Naftalin
2020-11-14 17:14:35 +0000 UTCI think he will join the night owls in fighting Moff and taking back the dark saber and Mandalore. In doing so, he will learn a different way.
Jenny O
2020-11-14 16:02:51 +0000 UTCI feel like eventually he will get there because this is a series and we’ll help connect to him more as a character! Plus can’t hide that beautiful man forever! Also, I should have know Eric would have recognized Bo from the armor. It took me until I saw the subtitle and I scared my wife with my excitement, then again when I saw it was Katee Sackoff. Then uncontrollable had liquid come from my eyes when I heard the name Asoka Tano!
Ziegenbagel
2020-11-14 15:49:54 +0000 UTCI vote yes but more as another avenue of character development for him. Did he really choose the way he lives? Or was he a kid and these folks saved him and it became the way? I’d like the option of joining Bo to be more of an impetus for him to evaluate who he is and what he chooses to believe, to give him more agency in what he stands for.
iamjustin
2020-11-14 15:45:03 +0000 UTCI prefer having the mystery pf never seeing his face.
Erika Kobori
2020-11-14 15:28:47 +0000 UTCHell no ! His whole character rest on his lack of identity (i was so disappointed when we've seen his face in season 1, it took off the charm. This is not the way x)
2020-11-14 14:42:14 +0000 UTCSame. Its the kind of epic/emotional moment that could've been saved up for a while that when it happens its even more legendary.
awesomeusername
2020-11-14 12:51:59 +0000 UTCI voted yes but it will take a long time to him to trust other kind of mandalorians and accept their ways as his own
2020-11-14 11:49:23 +0000 UTCNow I kinda see Mando as a sci-fi Kimmy Schmidt, who has to unlearn all the fucked up things he was taught from childhood in a crazy underground doomsday cult. The specific, critical thing he has come to understand is "this is the Way" really means you do whatever it takes to survive. Everyone from Frog-Lady and Cobb to the Sorgan settlers and even the Imperial remnants, everybody has to do whatever they can -- even die -- to further the survival of their people.
paininthebrass
2020-11-14 09:45:23 +0000 UTCI still hate that they showed his face in season 1!!!
2020-11-14 09:16:34 +0000 UTCThe way that in every episode his Mandalorian ideals are challenged hint to me that he won’t go against the code since that has been the way of his life. I don’t think he would break his code. This is the way!!!
2020-11-14 08:12:22 +0000 UTCNo, I belive He should continue his Way because altho Bo-Katan called the Children of the Watch as Cultist, Mando never did anything considered Bad during the series.
Goracyi
2020-11-14 08:07:21 +0000 UTCI think he will eventually take the helmet off, and possibly for good after a certain point. But I had to answer 'No' to the wording of the question, simply because it has to and will be a major character turn, not just something he'd casually do more often. What I actually suspect, is that based on the number of times he's been targeted simply for his beskar (literally 3 time already this season, if you count the jetpack last episode too), he'll have to forsake his principles out of the necessity of safety for himself and the child. It's just as Bo-Katan and the more typical mandalorians run a far bit more fast and loose with their interpretation of 'The Way', such that the way I interpret her slight mocking use of "This is the way" halfway through, is meant more so as means to say that she'll do anything for survival, even if that means lying to and manipulating a fellow mando.
Shmengels
2020-11-14 07:20:27 +0000 UTCI just love Pedro pascals face so yes
2020-11-14 07:05:45 +0000 UTCI think he’ll probably take it off again in the last episode like last season, and start to take it off more often next season.
Rohe Garcia
2020-11-14 06:59:57 +0000 UTCDo I want to see his beautiful face more? Of course! But I don't think he will because story reasons and budget. Mostly budget......
Johannah Cech
2020-11-14 06:52:46 +0000 UTCI voted yes because I want to see Pedro's beautiful face, but I don't know that he actually will. In this episode, he was none too happy when Bo Katan revealed she wanted to take over the entire ship. I think he still views these other Mandalorians as impure and/or backward or extremists or what-have-you. Since he's ditching them for now to go see Ahsoka, he won't have much continued exposure to their particular take on Mandalorian culture. At least not until their paths ultimately converge at Moff Gideon. At the very least, I don't expect to see him willingly take it off in front of them this season, but I hope that I'm wrong.
2020-11-14 05:14:58 +0000 UTCI think it is a natural progression for the character to start taking of his helmet more and will allow Pedro to be on screen more. I think at this point he deserves at least that.
Dylan Allardice
2020-11-14 04:51:27 +0000 UTCNot yet, but much later in the series after arduous character development.
SladeClegane
2020-11-14 04:43:40 +0000 UTCI Prefer This is The Way way more than taking helm off like he could respect bo-katan clan's way but still keep his that being a true representation of a Mandalorian plus Master chief never took his helm nor did doom guy
Indexsage
2020-11-14 04:35:43 +0000 UTCIt lessens his mystery if he's just like everyone else with his face exposed everytime. He can explore other ways but still keep the helmet on.
Barry
2020-11-14 04:27:10 +0000 UTCYes, no...maybe? Idk.
2020-11-14 04:15:03 +0000 UTCI don’t think he’ll choose to take it off. I think some climactic event will happen that will cause him to remove it and after that he’ll have to change to not wearing that often or at all.
Joshua Krienke
2020-11-14 02:34:49 +0000 UTCNo, this is not the way
SangheiliSpecOp
2020-11-14 02:23:47 +0000 UTCYes please. We need more shots of Pedro!
ObligedUniform
2020-11-14 02:13:05 +0000 UTCI think it should feel "earned" if that makes sense. Just because he finds other mandalorians who for all intents and purposes are a different sec or faction shouldn't automatically make Din want to remove his helmet. It's basically a religion for him at this point and you don't necessarily change your religious thinking because you meet a separate denomination etc.
Mario Carranza
2020-11-14 02:13:04 +0000 UTCYes! More is better, definitely when it comes to beautiful face of Pedro Pascal. And he's a great actor, that doesn't hurt too)
ForeverLannister
2020-11-14 02:03:10 +0000 UTCHell yeah!! I think Bo Katan and the other Mandalorians will open his eyes to a new way. Plus, he's missing out on a handy survival skill of blending into a crowd.
arliss123
2020-11-14 01:55:45 +0000 UTCMaybe not all the time, but I would like if he gradually started to once in a while, maybe just in front of baby yoda. I know Pedro pascal has confirmed he’s in the suit a lot more this season so I think it would be cool to see his face once in a while
2020-11-14 01:52:12 +0000 UTCNo, I don't think it's necessary. They do a great job of conveying what he's thinking and feeling without seeing his face.
Jeanette C
2020-11-14 01:51:43 +0000 UTCExactly
Angel Groves
2020-11-14 01:50:04 +0000 UTCI don’t think it will necessarily happen soon, but I think as he’s exposed to more Mandalorians, eventually he might chose to not follow as strict a creed. He might eventually accept that there is more than one way.
ScarlettMi
2020-11-14 01:49:59 +0000 UTCNo. Not at this point in the show. It shows how much he is devoted to his beliefs. This is the way. If in front of a droid, as in last season, then that is different. Perhaps in later seasons he could take it off more, depending on the premise.
Angel Groves
2020-11-14 01:48:51 +0000 UTCThat’s not apart of his creed, so no.
LKG
2020-11-14 01:44:26 +0000 UTCI think he'll learn they're is more ways to be a mandlorian then "the way" and through that he can learn to be a better person and mandalorian
Kaleb A. Diaz
2020-11-14 01:43:02 +0000 UTCIt better be like Power Rangers where he get’s a blast through his visor and we see he’s beautiful eyes 🥺🥺🥺
Luis Rodriguez
2020-11-14 01:42:47 +0000 UTCI think it will take him the length of the season to ruminate on - maybe in season 3.
Alexa Chipman
2020-11-14 01:40:13 +0000 UTCI dont need him to take off the helmet. But i do want him to accept that "the way" isn't the only way. I feel like we saw that a little bit in this episode already. And hope he gets the dark saber!!! :)
DonJimmy
2020-11-14 01:34:25 +0000 UTCHe's a good looking dude but no I think him not taking off the helmet is a interesting part of his character and if he kept taking it off it would dampen some of that, in fact I wish they didn't show his face last season as I personally felt it took away from the mystery of his character
2020-11-14 01:26:16 +0000 UTCI think eventually yes he needs to learn that none of these rules are what makes a mandalorian, but rather your personality
Alhussein Aldujaili
2020-11-14 01:25:31 +0000 UTCI just wanna see ahsokas reaction to seeing another one of yodas species.
2020-11-14 01:21:52 +0000 UTCI haven’t seen him do anything immoral because “it is the way” . Bo altered the deal mid mission so her beliefs aren’t all that squeaky clean (though I do like her). I hope he sticks to his beliefs and keeps his helmet on. (However, I am in agreement it’d be great for the actor.)
Cal
2020-11-14 01:16:09 +0000 UTCWhile others may think of his group as a cult, I think its quite noble and adds so much more to his character that he leaves it on. Sure, you want to see Pedro, but give me a man committed to the code that makes him the man he is anyday!
Erich Bomke
2020-11-14 01:15:56 +0000 UTCIt’s apart of his whole aesthetic and character... so no. I’d be a lose of a cool aspect of his character. Despite what the main actor wants I might add. For those who don’t know he was recently commented as saying he wanted to be without the helmet more and if not he’d refuse to film more. But if I know anything about Disney... ironically enough the same director is on this show too... if you try to get greedy and throw a hissy fit... your ass is gone Rip Iron man 1 Rhodey
Joshua gomer
2020-11-14 01:14:21 +0000 UTCYes. Din needs to learn the true Way of the Mandalore from Bo-Katan.
Bethany Kettler
2020-11-14 01:06:27 +0000 UTCI have spoken take off the helmet. I want more Pedro Pascal appearances for amazing moments in this season.
Chase Gardner
2020-11-14 00:52:45 +0000 UTCI voted yes. Pedro Pascal is a phenomenal actor. He brings Mando to life with just voice work and body language, but I think if you really want to dive into a characters humanity and development you need to be able to see their face.
Steve
2020-11-14 00:48:00 +0000 UTCThis question is the Way!
Joel
2020-11-14 00:41:36 +0000 UTCOne or two moments would be fine, like in life-threatening situations (Season 1 finale) or around close people. Maybe at least one scene where he shows his face to the child. Otherwise, I’d like to see him stick to his guns and keep it on. As they say, less is more.
Annie
2020-11-14 00:34:08 +0000 UTCI'd be ok with it, have a couple episodes with him coming to grips with this development and then have him accept it in season three.
2020-11-14 00:29:19 +0000 UTCWhile I do love the faceless protagonist type character. The series has already shown his face. And with an actor like Pedro Pascal as your main character, we gotta see his face more often. PS, Love your guys’ videos, it feels good to know that there are people out there who are as big of fans as me. It brings a smile to my face.
2020-11-14 00:26:38 +0000 UTCA new creature or person is trying to kill him every episode. I think at this point the helmet needs to stay on at all times just to ensure his safety.
Braden Ennis
2020-11-14 00:25:33 +0000 UTCClone Wars and rebels are some of the best star wars content out there easily and it's not even close. The channel has reactions to both shows and I would highly recommend them. They expand on the prequels so much and make you actually care about the characters, not to mention how great they are on their own. Just watch them, it's worth it
KobyWan17
2020-11-14 00:19:03 +0000 UTCAs much as I like Pedro Pascal. I think is really dope that he never takes his mask off. Like Karl Urban in Dredd. It could however be done from time to time in special occasions, like they did in season 1, but not just 'cause.
Fakudan
2020-11-14 00:17:20 +0000 UTCI guess I have to bite the bullet and watch all of Clone Wars and Rebels. Cuz I feel like I'm missing a lot of Easter eggs 🙄
Saitama
2020-11-14 00:17:02 +0000 UTCIt's cool to see religious differences in Mandalorian culture. It'd be cool to see him and other Mandos work together even though they disagree. Wouldn't that be nice... 😂
Sam K
2020-11-14 00:16:56 +0000 UTCI have mixed feelings about it, but I voted yes. Much like people in real life, I don't want him to be close minded or so set on one "Way." He should choose, of course, and can still believe strongly in the Way of the Watch, but I would love if he (as well as us) learned more about the different factions of Mandalorian culture
2020-11-14 00:15:36 +0000 UTCYes, because Pedro Pascal is one handsome man.
Josh Bornman
2020-11-14 00:13:33 +0000 UTCI think it would be interesting for them to explore these different creeds and that would mean him being resistant to it. I think if he just randomly decides to start taking off his helmet it would be very disappointing.
Night
2020-11-14 00:11:16 +0000 UTCPedro Pascal is such a good actor that it would be a crime to cover his face with a helmet all the time.
Yil
2020-11-14 00:10:45 +0000 UTCFrom what we saw last season, I think Pedro Pascal looks pretty cool in the armor with his helmet off. I think it’d be a great arc for Din to eventually become comfortable taking the helmet off, maybe even to save The Child. and we also get to see more of Pedro Pascal’s beautiful face
shai
2020-11-14 00:09:17 +0000 UTCI think he will take it off at least in front of baby yoda
2020-11-14 00:09:05 +0000 UTCAbsolutely I mean it is Pedro Pascal for one and I would also like to see him break away from the group of Zealots that he’s apart of so he can become more like Bo and others
Christian Bolda
2020-11-14 00:09:00 +0000 UTCyes because that will mean that Bo has got her perspective across and that he’s not being a dick about it.
Paul Murphy
2020-11-14 00:08:52 +0000 UTCI said yes but not this season. I like the idea of him slowly... slowly as he sees more of the galaxy through a new lense... to realize his creed is not as good as he believed... and that while elements of the doctrine are noble... some should be left behind
Talon Karrde
2020-11-14 00:08:32 +0000 UTCNot right now, but I could see that being a development to his character
Jsmooth12033
2020-11-14 00:08:27 +0000 UTCI dont want him to just start. He should just feel like its ok to take it off but he will still wear it the way he does
ChiefChill
2020-11-14 00:08:04 +0000 UTCAs much as I love Pedro, and is handsome face, that IS NOT the way!
lewis is your patron
2020-11-14 00:07:56 +0000 UTCI like that aspect of him. But I think he will because of behind the scenes drama of him wanting more facetime
DC Fanboy
2020-11-14 00:07:26 +0000 UTCMore Pedro Pascal can only be a good thing.
Gameguy1128
2020-11-14 00:07:19 +0000 UTCYes anything to see that beautiful man's face
Dip602
2020-11-14 00:06:26 +0000 UTC
