"man he could have stabbed him in the back" you had no idea...

I really felt bad for Marrow in this episode. I get that he was following orders instead of thinking for himself, but at least he was trying to de-escalate the situation and not use excessive force. And then what does he get for that? Weiss almost skewers him! Honestly, for me, that'd be the moment where I go from trying to keep things civil to just being like "Man, fuck you!"

I like the outcomes of everything that happened in this episode, from Clover dying to the Ace-ops losing to team RWBY. I hated the execution and reasons of each outcome.

Probably because of how easily they took him out before so he sees qrow as a more capable threat

Herberderber

Clover kept attacking Qrow and stopped him from reaching Tyrian (since his top order was still to arrest Qrow), so he gave Qrow pretty much no other choice but to team up with Tyrian ... altrough Qrow never really did anything to assist Tyrian if you rewatch the fight, while Tyrian on the other hand kept pushing Qrow into Clover to keep the ball rolling ... he may be crazy but he sure is smart

I also kind of assumed it was like smash but in a different way. Tyrian already had his aura broke earlier and he took the full impact of the crash. Qrow had taken the impact of the crash and Clover jumped mitigating or preventing the damage from the crash. Tyrian should only just be holding on (1 stock left) Qrow was hit hard but mostly okay (2 stocks) and Clover had barely been hit (3 stocks). Plus it wasn't like Clover was letting Qrow just fight Tyrian, he kept getting in the way, and Clover doesn't want to fight Qrow 1 vs 1 in the current situation. Qrow might be more hurt, but he is still more experienced, though I might just be assuming that part. Both Ironwood's plan and Salem's are bad, but Salem's plan is far worse, but Ironwood's plan dooms people to death more immediately where Salem's plan still needs two relics that aren't even here. So while Salem's plan is worse Ironwood's is a more immediate threat.

Rick thank you for just calling Oscar, Oscar. Yes he has Ozpin's spirit but that doesn't stop him from being him. A Lot of reactors calling him Oscpin and other variations. He's his own man, Ozpin isn't taking over, last season they said that Ozma learned to live with his host not take over. Eventually Ozpin won't be a voice giving advice, Oscar will be that voice gaining all Ozpins knowledge and be himself.

Honestly a lot of people fail to unterstand the purpose of the Qrow, Clover and Robyn situation ...

Dragon Huntress

Honestly I find Qrow and Robyn the most to blame for the situation. They had Tyrian captured and on his way to prison. The ship was not the place for this confrontation. Robyn drew her weapon first. She shot at Clover, he deflected, and then knocked her down when she charged. He literally doesn't make another move after that, until Qrow decides that he just has to get involved in this fight now. God knows why. Sure, once the ship crashed there was some stupidity on /everyone's/ part, but it shouldn't have reached that point in the first place.

Ailish

Eh. Qrow turned it from a 1 v 1 v 1 into a 2 v 1. He actively stopped attacking Tyrian. Plus, he and Robyn started the initial fight. On the ship, no less, which was really dumb. Qrow should have just helped Clover subdue Robyn so they could sort it out once they landed. Or at least stay out of it and try to talk them down.

Ailish

Yeah but Qrow wasn’t trying to attack Clover until it became apparent that Clover wouldn’t stop attacking him. Qrow knee he couldn’t take both of them on together, and Clover was cocky enough to believe he could take 2 people on. It’s the biggest flaw in the Atlas system. Clover should have realized that Tyrian was the bigger threat and it was more important for him to be imprisoned than Qrow.

Tanyelle

I think you mean Clover Qrow was attacking Tyrain from the start but every time Clover got in the way instead for helping Qrow stop him first

TrueWarriorJak

I have to say I really didn't like this episode... What have they done to Qrows character! That was just stupid!!

Namikaza

As soon as Qrow realises Tyrian is back in the fight he immediately goes for him and not Clover, but Clover keeps on attacking Qrow which is why he eventually teams up with Tyrian. It's definitely not a wise move on his part or Clover's and that's why it still goes wrong, but he doesn't go for Clover as soon as Tyrian suggests the team-up. And I think the reason Clover goes for Qrow not Tyrian is related to the fable he is based on but I may be wrong on that...

Oliver Sharp

Such a sad episode. Part of me thinks that Qrow’s decision to do what he does, was because of his semblance. I think it has a lot of control over him.

Ben Hendrian

I wonder what scene they are reacting to in the thumbnail.... 😔
