Star Wars: The Clone Wars 7x7 - Poll!

Do you think the Martez Sisters will appear in the final Clone Wars Arc?

Comments

I agree with you man

CommanderX

Trace I don't mind so much, but Rafa is infuriating... Mostly because a lot of what *Has* happened has really been her fault and Ahsoka being the one attempting to fix it. She's still in the mindset of what a True Jedi should be and how they should act whereas Trace and Rafa serve, imo, the journey she has to take in order to shrug OFF what she used to be and become the kind of person you see in the book and then Rebels. I do see it going South HARD core when Rafa realizes Ahsoka can use the Force.

At this point, I wouldn't mind either way. If we don't see them after this arc, fine. And if we do, it'll be a nice callback. I am still so stoked that we have more Clone Wars.

I’m tired of them arguing, The only way I want them to be in the final arc is if they are gotten rid of permanently lol jk.....but seriously

Ian May

I hope not. I've gotten pretty tired of Raffa and Trace. It would be kind of weird to have them in such an important arc.

VanguardDuelist

They wouldn't fit the tone and have no stakes in it. Just take them to some peaceful agriworld and leave them to it.

Herberderber

I could see them being the ones to help Ahsoka and Rex get off the planet after Order 66

Ryan Witalison

I would say the son of dathomir comics have spoilers for the final arc

I feel like we have to, otherwise the whole characters feel pointless. Question tho... When taking Rick and Calvin through CW and Rebels, will you take them through S7 or rebels first?

StupidWebcam

God I hope not.

Wolf6120

I think they are just part of Ahsoka’s journey. They won’t go with her whenever the Nite Owls come for her.

I voted “no” purely out of optimism

Unfortunately as much as I hate this arc and those characters, I do think they’re gonna be in the siege of mandalore arc. I think this because of things we saw in the trailer, and it just makes sense. *sigh*

Brandon Brenlla

I don’t see them having a reason to be around during the final arc. Ahsoka and them will probably go their separate ways or they will die. I am starting to like them so I hope it’s not the latter.

It makes sense as a symptom of grief for the Martez sisters to hate the Jedi, but it doesn't actually stand up to even a seconds worth of thought. Rafa says that part of the reason she hates the Jedi is that they were left to fend for themselves after the accident. How is that the Jedi's fault? The Order isn't an orphanage for the non-force sensitive. Two children being left behind on the capitol world of the Republic is more an indictment of the Republic's nonexistent Social Safety Net than anything else. Star Wars has always had a bizarre relationship with politics and ideology. Slavery in the prequels was handled egregiously and this case is rather similar. I would like to know if it ever crossed the writers' minds that this could have been a fantastic opportunity to depict the Republic as a decadent society in decline with an enormous gap between social classes and a kleptocracy for a government.

I see what you mean, the way she recalled it it seemed like at least five years prior. In which case if they make a change like that I’m all for it. It gives things more breathing room and it means that Anakin and Padme were married for longer which is a plus imo. Because if we’re to take it that chronologically the first episode of the Clone (Cat and Mouse) takes place two months after Attack of the Clones, then Anakin has matured quite a bit in a rather short window. I doubt they’ll ever make something like that official, because I’m sure it would somehow get backlash, but it’s cool to have in the realms of head canon.

When ratffa mentioned the zero break out was a few years ago it got me thinking has the length of the clone was been extended to last longer than 3 years? Always thought too much happens in such a short amount of time. And would enjoy the change

Yes, because I think order 66 and Ahsoka's dual with Maul will take place at the exact same time based on Maul's comments in Rebels, so I feel like after Ahsoka and Rex survive the attack they will flee to where ever the Martez sisters are which will help them stay hidden, Also I am beyond excited for order 66! I already know its gonna be emotional ASF😂

YaBoyNoah

No, and I hope not, I don’t want any unnecessary characters/distractions in such a critical upcoming arc

They keep introducing new characters, they survive and part ways, it would be a waste if the were discarded just like that.

Yil

I doubt it, I feel like this season is just having Rex and Asoka in their own storylines before merging their stories for Order 66.

Joel

Probably not, but I wouldn't be against it.
