Do you think this was a good send off for Michonne?
Comments
Yes. I feel as though it was as good as they could have done at this point because of the change in head writer for the show. This episode had great moments and slow moments. But I can't help but feel as though it would have been so much more great if we had a more consistent story throughout. For me, Gimple screwed the whole thing. Angela Kang Revitalised this show, but the show suffered due to Gimple.

2020-03-26 10:17:26 +0000 UTCI feel like the only way I could see Michonne leave is to find Rick and everything else in the episode was to remind her why that is decision she makes in the end. From seeing how messed up Virgil is from losing his family to what would happen if she didn't join the group "almost" everything felt right in this episode.
2020-03-25 19:08:09 +0000 UTC"GOOD" Send off? Yes. "GREAT" Send off? No. The Virgil stuff wasn't great, I see what they were trying to do, but they could've absolutely spent more time focusing on Michonne, I LOVED the What-Ifs & the ending with the tease for that group! But, I wish we would've seen more people find out not only that she was leaving but WHY she was going.

2020-03-25 17:51:48 +0000 UTCThe episode was really great, except for virgil he really annoyed me. the flashback other reality scenes were awesome and i felt that from her realizing that Rick was alive to leaving was a nice sendoff and looking forward to her in the movies

2020-03-25 14:31:15 +0000 UTCI really hated everything Vergil in the episode, liked the what ifs, and loved the ending. Made me more excited about the movies.. It was my least favorite episode of the season.

2020-03-25 05:55:04 +0000 UTCI voted 'no'. The episode itself was good, I enjoyed the 'what if?' moments, but at the end of the day they left it pretty clear that she will be in the Rick movies. So it's not really a farewell, just a 'until later'. Honestly I was hoping for more of Alpha's severed head. Ideally on a spike. Maybe with a funny hat, for giggles.

2020-03-25 04:22:10 +0000 UTCDidn't feel like the sendoff of a character, but rather just the writers having to come up with a script because the actress had to go.

2020-03-25 03:38:31 +0000 UTCNot really i would've atleast had her meet the group one last time instead of just talking to Judith on the walkie

2020-03-24 22:46:29 +0000 UTCIt was a great episode and a really good send off for her. Loved the hallucination scenes, showing what would've happened if she didn't show mercy for Andrea and i also loved how they ended Michonne's arc by having her follow Rick and Carl's way of letting mercy prevail over their wrath and how this will help her find Rick. I enjoyed how the Virgil storyline subverted my expectations and loved the callbacks to Morgan, but i can see why some people would hate this part of the episode. On another note i hope we get Negan and Daryl teaming up to kill Beta.
2020-03-24 22:42:00 +0000 UTCI do think it was a good send off but I would have rather known that it was before I watched it. The alternative flashback stuff was good with the composite shots and the new footage but fuck Virgil with a chainsaw. But in retrospect she wouldn't have had any idea about Rick if she hadn't gone with him.

2020-03-24 22:04:47 +0000 UTCI wasn't on board until little ass kicker told her she had to go. You listen to Judith at all costs!!!!!!

2020-03-24 21:49:41 +0000 UTCI'm glad that her exit was to search for Rick and not her death, and by having the radio talk with Judith it means that Judith can let the rest of the group know what happened and why Michonne is gone. Looking forward to some Judith and Uncle Daryl adventures!

2020-03-24 21:42:21 +0000 UTCShe left her kids to find rick. From the first time we met michonne she had problems because her son had died. For someone who lost a kid, why would you purposely leave behind 2 of your children? Or at least go back to let people know that rick is still out there and we should look for him. For an ending of a character I thought it could've been written better.

2020-03-24 21:26:05 +0000 UTCI don't think Rick would like the idea of leaving both kids behind

2020-03-24 21:21:57 +0000 UTCNo. Virgil was annoying, she was away from her family & she left her kids.

2020-03-24 21:07:57 +0000 UTCyea & no. I say that because it’s not a complete send off. She is rumored to show up in the Rick movies & I believe Rick and Michonne will be back for the last season of the show (Even if it’s only the final episode or last 3 episodes)

2020-03-24 20:58:25 +0000 UTCHonestly, sadly knowing this was her last episode, I thought it was going to be worse. Still wasnt a big fan of the sendoff, it was meh/ok.
