Work on LIC v2.7.X is continuing just fine. As I’ve said before, this version will focus on content at the University. I’ve touched up some of the plot stuff, mostly about making the side job as a lecturer easier and more obvious to obtain. September didn’t go quite as well as I had hoped, but I’m back at work on Live in Corruption v2.7.0 and things are progressing nicely this this time around. I got a new 3080ti and it’s a modest improvement over my dearly departed 3080, but at least I wasn’t layed up with a much slower video card for too long.

Work continues on Live in Corruption v2.6.0. It's going a little slower than I would have hoped, owing to my good video card dying. I am genuinely quite upset that immediately after I ordered my replacement China banned Nvidia GPUs, the AI bubble can't crash fast enough god damn it. But whatever, my new video card should arrive today. Update pre-release will be up in a few days, then a full release a few days after that. See you then.

So, this morning as I was prepping a scene list of renders to prepare, and while my render PC was chugging along on an animation I smelled burning plastic. My monitor went black, then, when I tried to hard reboot the PC it rang out the dreaded beep code that told me it didn’t have a working video card in the PCIE slot.
