I have a question why did they cut out the Parts where the can is thrown at the girls nose, and Hims sicking the dog on the women and Pitt killing the man hippie. Cause in the edit early on all those scenes were in the early access but there was looks like an edit for the Youtube cut.

2020-02-16 17:37:58 +0000 UTCFilms are subjective, and I respect you think. I don't rate Drew Goddard's movies - but each their own and all that..
Nick Earl
2020-02-11 16:51:11 +0000 UTCAnd I thought the opposite. I thought this movie was way too tarentino . I thought bad times at the el royale was similar without being as pretentious. Maybe I’m bias because I love the late sixties so much but I thought we royale had way more beautiful cinematography and I love Goddard’s take on voyeurism. But I know that movie either hits or doesn’t.

2020-02-11 11:09:05 +0000 UTCI didn't like Bad Times At The El Royale, it was very schlocky and far too self-aware. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is a much more naturalistic film with far more interesting characters that didn't feel like B-movie archetypes.

2020-02-11 10:47:13 +0000 UTCI liked the movie but I’m so over all the feet. And people driving around for slightly too long so he can build a great sound track. I really would love to see you compare this to “bad times at the el royale”. Tarrentino vs Goddard. Both love stories to the lates sixties, both a little long in length, both with amazing casts and two amazing and genre breaking writers and directors. I’d love to see what you liked about one vs the other. That would be an amazing film study. Also no one has reacted to BTatER I think at all and I’d love to see someone do it!! Great reaction!

2020-02-11 00:52:39 +0000 UTCThe guy who plays Manson in Mindhunter is the same guy who plays Manson here.
2020-02-10 07:57:35 +0000 UTCMy favorite Tarantino scene has to be Stuntman Mike's car crash in Death Proof.
2020-02-10 03:52:24 +0000 UTCThe whole movie you’re enjoying, the dialogue is great. You think this might be his most normal movie... Then at the end HOLY SHIT!!!

2020-02-10 00:16:50 +0000 UTCI love the ending, it really encapsulates the title of "Once Upon A Time"

2020-02-09 23:02:50 +0000 UTCThe complaints about the characterization of Bruce Lee and the fight need to take into account when it takes place. The scene is bookended with Cliff on the roof, so it is from his recollection. He's an unreliable narrator and is propping himself up. On The Rewatchables podcast, they pointed out something I missed on first viewings that enforce the theory. When Cliff throws Bruce into the car, all the spectators magically disappear. If the fight did happen, this is not unbiased account. We see two quick scenes of Bruce a couple of other times, when he's helping to train Sharon Tate and later, Jay Sebring. These moments better reflect Bruce's character.

2020-02-09 19:43:23 +0000 UTCThe Crew should react to all Tarantino movies. All are fantastic.

2020-02-09 18:39:38 +0000 UTCAlternatively, a wonderfully detailed two hours expressing the changing nature of Hollywood - filled with brilliant scenes - that is reflective of the changing status of its two lead characters. Which is then followed by a wonderful rewrite of history. Thematically, and emotionally, this is QT’s best film since Jackie Brown.
Nick Earl
2020-02-09 17:44:12 +0000 UTCThat is your opinion. Personally I think the two hours of storyline prior to the ending scene are brilliant.
Nick Earl
2020-02-09 17:42:06 +0000 UTCInstinct wise its what a dog would do if fallow commands if trained. Tarantino in his movies has to have some terrible death scene with lots of violence. What a scene though. But its not enough to make it the oscar nominated film it is.

2020-02-09 16:37:33 +0000 UTCTruth be known the girl been dead if it was a real pitbull attack but dogs any breed is reflective of who owns them and how they are treated. German Police ,Pitbulls, Dovermans and Rotweillers will tear a person up. Insti

2020-02-09 16:35:08 +0000 UTCAs a crime junkie I LOVE this scene the girl got it the worst because she did the worst in real life and as a pit bull owner I hate this it's already so hard enough to change people minds about my pups bread but amazing reaction as always ♥️

2020-02-09 16:09:44 +0000 UTCMan, sit through 2h of an old man's meandering about a beautiful past that never was, and end up with 20min ultraviolet looney tunes killin, Nah.
2020-02-09 15:19:44 +0000 UTCExactly, full length was so fun

2020-02-09 14:45:51 +0000 UTCWhat a fun movie! QT kills it again with character development intertwining throughout the movie and culminating in a way that only these characters could ever manage. Good shit!

2020-02-09 10:34:19 +0000 UTCFavourite Tarantino film since Jackie Brown - with one hell of an ending!
Nick Earl
2020-02-09 09:52:23 +0000 UTCLoved their reaction like always and still enjoy the movie but that screaming girl still comes close to ruining the end for me

2020-02-09 05:34:29 +0000 UTCNot my favorite Tarantino movie but GOTDAMN is that ending my favorite Tarantino scene, just fucking madness.

2020-02-09 05:07:09 +0000 UTCidk, I haven't seen the movie whole, but the Bruce Lee scene kinda of made me sad. Super biased, obviously. Need to see the movie in whole to form an opinion.

2020-02-09 05:04:01 +0000 UTCI don't know if you've already done the reaction or not, but for the new MHA episode, please watch the ending!! If you look closely you'll see some pretty cool/important stuff!

2020-02-09 02:51:33 +0000 UTCThis went exactly like I imagined it, like wow, i love how in their heads they were thinking how this wasn’t worthy of a reaction but it ended up being their best movie reaction so far imo. Parasite should be next tbh.
gpaul
2020-02-09 02:34:23 +0000 UTCif you know the actual history, its the suspense that you know what's coming at the end then tarentino does his magic and changes everything

2020-02-09 01:45:29 +0000 UTCThe fact that it shows the flame thrower in the shed 20 minutes in, I was in the theatre as shocked as them when he walks out with it at the end!

2020-02-09 01:44:43 +0000 UTCman i hope the rumours of QT making some ACTUAL episodes of Bounty Law are right!

2020-02-09 01:15:59 +0000 UTCWhat's the problem?

2020-02-08 23:39:44 +0000 UTCTarantino counts this as his 9th movie, he considers Kill Bill one single film, so he's still planning one more to complete the 10. And it's not gonna be the Star Trek thing because he said he's not gonna direct that and I'm not even sure at this point if they're gonna use his script either.

2020-02-08 23:37:39 +0000 UTCNot going to lie wasn't hyped when this won the poll, because I was being biased since I hadn't seen it before. But after watching it earlier this week, I'm so glad they where reacting to it.

2020-02-08 23:29:31 +0000 UTCSeriously this won the poll?

2020-02-08 23:14:12 +0000 UTCThis is basically another Quentin "what should have happened" bit of historical fiction like "Inglourious Basterds" where he takes you through some very real (or real feeling) horror/dread that leads up to a cathartic fantasy where he gets "revenge" on horrible people from history in the most violent way possible. It is also a love letter to a specific era of Hollywood that the Manson Family murders pretty much mark the end of.
WrathOfTheGoth
2020-02-08 23:08:37 +0000 UTCI remember seeing this opening weekend, late ass showing, and we get to the climax theater was holding its breath and once Cliff threw the dog food at the girl, EVERYONE, started laughing an incredible memorable theater experience

2020-02-08 23:06:14 +0000 UTCQuentin Tarantino made his fairytale version (hence the Once Upon a Time...) of his idyllic Hollywood. It’s his love letter to that time, and in his version he saved Sharon Tate and her friends from the horrible murders that happened in real life and took revenge on the terrible Manson family and gave them what they deserve for what they did in real life to Sharon and her friends that very night. Charles Manson never actually killed any of them, it was members of his “family” that did. And the real life event was super ultra violent and brutal so I think that’s why Tarantino made it so ultra violent in the movie.
2020-02-08 22:46:55 +0000 UTCIt's the same actor from mindhunter

2020-02-08 22:09:52 +0000 UTCAwesome movie, hope the guys enjoy it. After watching the reaction, this is now my favourite thing Blind Wave has ever done. Eric's face during the last 20 mins or so was priceless. The flamethrower reveal was the icing on a particularly delicious cake.
