Do you think Hvitzerk gets even worse after this event or gets better?

Vikings tends to go for the bleakness of real life. I don't expect miraculous recovery. I expect sinking in drugs to not deal with with self-hatred or execution by Ubbe.

I think it's pretty obvious, that she looks like Freydis only in Ivar's mind. He just feels bad for killing her. Oleg just used the opportunity and fucked her in front of Ivar, to morally defeat him since Ivar is acting against Oleg. Maybe this is not the smartest writing ever, but it's not as silly, as you said, Eric.

At the same time he believes his fate is to kill Ivar. So hey may just become laser focused on his goal to kill Ivar now. But then again he may just keep messing up and get himself killed faster.
