I think Burr is the obvious meta-choice but I'd reverse-circumcise myself to make it Cad Bane (maybe he'll show up in new Clone Wars tho)

I really truly believe that it could be Cad Bane. Filoni created him for Clone Wars and we still have no idea how his story/life ends. It was a good catch on the spurs and the cape/fabric hanging down did look fairly consistent with trenchcoat being a possibility.

I think it's Boba Fett's successor. Having an heir seems to be an important thing to the Fetts. Jango specifically asked for Boba an unaltered clone for a "son". Boba in a sense is Jango, so Boba taking a "successor" or acolyte would have made sense. Also we are assuming it's a man, from the shots shown nothing truly indicates that they are male. What if it's a woman?

It’s confirmed Boba isn’t in the show. I would also hate it if it was Boba. He’s dead, leave him dead.

I would say Giancarlo Esposito’s character. But based only on my own selfish wishes. I like the idea of it being Boba Fett, but my impression was that an actor of Esposito’s caliber would be the “big bad” and since there are only 3 episodes left I’m guessing they are now introducing him. But this show doesn’t follow any of the standard rules of tv shows so who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

I love the idea that it would be Cad Bane for his whole inspiration is of the western gunslinger motif. Seeing his character come to life in the Mandalorian would be a treat for fans PLUS see what his interaction would be with the Mandalorian.

Cad Bane is possibly dead. If it was Boba, he would steal all the attention away from the main character.

First things first, this may be my favorite episode. The speeder shots and action were fantastic. Anyway, I think the character at the end is going to be Giancarlo or some actor/character that has been kept a secret. Also, I'm sad that Toro died, I really liked his character. I hope he somehow survived and can become an rival that shows up at different points throughout the series or maybe they could redeem their relationship and eventually team up again.

Boba! When he walks in empire you hear the Spurs, you can clearly hear it in the scene with him walking up to Darth Vader as they capture Han and them. It could just be wishful thinking, but I want it to be him so bad!

Funny you should mention the idea of someone else wearing Fett’s armor because that happened in canon. In the aftermath trilogy a guy named Cobb Vanth acquires his armor from the jawas.

When the title of the episode popped up, I immediately thought of my favorite gunslinger Cad Bane. But as much as we all wish it was him or Boba Fett, I highly doubt it. They might not throw in any Clone Wars or movie characters until next season. It is most likely one of the listed new characters. I don't believe they would hide them if it was Greef.

I voted for Boba Fett because I’m ever the optimist.

I really hope its Cobb Vanth, the sheriff of Freetown from the Aftermath book trilogy. Its heavily implied he now possesses Boba Fett's armour and as a sheriff, it could fit in with the episode title of "The Gunslinger".

Could it be Cobb Vanth? I don't know much about the character at the moment since I'm still reading the Star Wars: Aftermath Trilogy, but I do know he is a self-proclaimed Sheriff on Tatooine after Jabba died.

I initially thought it was Greef at first because he wore a long coat like the figure did and afterall, Mando shot at him so he could be looking for him. I'd like to think it's a new character however.

The fanboy inside of me hopes it's Boba Fett or Cad Bane, but the logical part of me assumes it will be a character we've seen before. Also, hope epsiode 6 was good!
