I'd prefer the future as the chronology of the present would be royally fucked. 2 Mias, Williams, and Connors would destroy the timeline if they were put there for an extended period.

I could see a scenario where william, and Conner go back to the future so Conner can finally take the mantle of green arrow, and Mia could stay as the current green arrow.

why not both, in the present with flash forwards or vice versa, because everyone l o v e d that last season

The future because it would be weird to have two Mia's and William's in the present.

PRESENT! A story in the future will probably just age bad and would make it difficult to make crossovers, which always has been highlights in the seasons. Also a future story would mean that we either lose the current characters, because of a timeline change or the future wouldn´t , which would suck.

I know this doesn’t involve the Pole but I couldn’t make it for QnA. Do you think Deadshot and death stroke will return. I hope Deadshot. He was such a great character

I'm ok with either but I can't help but think it would be easier to have it set in the present to allow for future crossovers, also could you imagine how annoying it's going to get for Katie Cassidy and Juliana Harkavy to get into that wrinkly future makeup every episode?

For me personally I was kinda iffy on DC at the time, but then I heard Manu Bennett was joining the cast halfway through Season 1, loved him in Spartacus and all that. Here I am seven years later. What a long strange trip its been.

I remember when this show was first announced. I refused to watch it due to my loyalty to smallviles green arrow. I lasted 3 years before realizing the error of my ways. It's sad to have to say goodbye once again to an Oliver queen I've grown into adulthood with. Here's hoping mia and Williams sereies is great. I'm shure I'll love this arrow all the same as the other 2

I rather it be in the present since the characters are already in present day, but I have a feeling it will take place in the future. I will give the show a chance either way, but it will be a lot harder for me to be invested in the show if it takes place in the future

Yes that would be most interesting - watching New Team Arrow navigate the new 2040, maybe seeing Mia get her own Green Arrow suit.

The future is a bad idea. You have to predict what future tech and attire looks like. It kills tension for the shows in the present. You can't really explore the world or history because seeing or knowing what happened to Gotham/CC is might fuck up your other shows. Crossovers are complicated. It's just bad idea all around.

As much as I have been wanting Mia to stay in the present, the most important thing to me is that she make her own path as the new Green Arrow. Returning to a changed future could help with her own identity as staying in the present might feel like she is only continuing in Oliver’s place.
