2019-11-26 02:47:54 +0000 UTCI think the storm along with him trying to figure out the cube as the shadows creep toward them is strong symbolism, but that's what the creators knew we'd think up, so they purposely added that Mr. Poopybutthole to seemingly distract us. But they knew smart sons-of-bitches like me would figure it out and comment on it, so while we think Morty is going to embody the "storm" against Rick, what will happen is that Morty actually becomes the storm for Rick, as we see him start his figurative bending-of-the-knee. The storm is actually rising within Rick; it's Rick's storm. Rick does the same thing over and over. His actions spur from his hate (of heists, of toilet-snatchers, of death). Over three episodes we have seen a repetitive sense of distaste toward those that take what Rick deems to be his. Morty asks Rick what the difference is between their harvesting of the death crystals versus the poachers: Rick says, "because we're Rick and Morty." Rick has finally achieved Morty's loyalty by demolishing Morty's dreams. He has taken another thing to call his own. It will never be enough. Of course, they knew we'd come to this conclusion so it is actually just a throw away gag and you're stupid for even reading this far. Unless
