I was excited to see a cold plate option for the Creality K1 Max pop up for pre-sale right before Christmas. I snagged one wanting to give it a go for low temperature ABS/ASA printing or even some PLA printing with the build plate completely off!

Whenever youāre pressing heat inserts, you want to make sure that the smaller lip on the hear insert fits into the hole you will be pressing the insert into.
This will make the entire process much easier.
*Note: the hole size should not be bigger than the heat insert itself it should just be big enough for only the lip to friction fit perfectly. For designing in fusion 360 on models that need heat inserts, Iāve found using a circle diameter of 4.5mm to be the best fit.
