The Mandalorian 1x3 Poll!

Do you think The Mandalorian will remove his helmet this season?
Comments
No, i don't think he will do it willingly. What i think may happen is that for some reason he has to take it of to apes Baby Yoda.

2019-11-24 21:01:10 +0000 UTCI think maybe at the end of the season he will and I wouldn't be 100% sure though. I do have another theory about why baby yoda is involved in all of this, although i could be completely wrong. As we all know The emperor is gonna be in the rise of skywalker and I think that he obviously survived, but i think the main reason he lived so long was because they got some of baby yodas dna and infused it with the emperor so it would make sense that he is alive in rise of skywalker
2019-11-24 16:10:35 +0000 UTCWhilst I would rather he not remove his helmet, I think that if he did, it should be done in a way where he starts to lift it off and the series ends or the scene is shot in a way where we don't see his face.

2019-11-24 08:09:17 +0000 UTCThey're making such a big deal about how it's basically a crime against humanity to take off his helmet. It's been pointed out in every episode. So I'm pretty sure he'll take it off in some epic hero moment.
DF
2019-11-24 05:00:38 +0000 UTCThat is not the way
Chris Jarvis
2019-11-24 04:33:53 +0000 UTCKarl Urban played Dredd and he never remove his helmet because he loves and respect the character so much, so he didn't care about he's face not being on screen. This could be a similar case. That being said I do think we will se his face.
Fakudan
2019-11-24 02:38:01 +0000 UTCI think it will happen, and because they've said again and again he shouldn't remove his helmet, when he does that it would be an important plot point and a character growth moment. Also given the pace of this show, it is very likely it will happen towards the end of this season.
2019-11-24 02:15:23 +0000 UTCI think it could be a season finale kind of moment.
Zane Pena
2019-11-24 02:10:56 +0000 UTCThey've drawn attention to it twice now. I feel like it'll be when a samurai has his top-knot cut off. It'll happen at some point and it'll be a big deal.
Darth Skhorrn
2019-11-24 01:58:12 +0000 UTCThis is the way.
Tone
2019-11-23 21:16:50 +0000 UTCI don’t think he will because despite how cool it would be to see Pedro Pascal I don’t think “the Mandalorian” would do something as against his culture as removing his helmet
Caleb
2019-11-23 19:45:01 +0000 UTCI hope they don't, the mystery is interesting.
2019-11-23 19:33:54 +0000 UTCHe will not. It is the way.
Alexander Mullins (Valathor95)
2019-11-23 18:04:49 +0000 UTCNo, but I could see them doing it eventually. I just don't see it being done this season.
2019-11-23 17:44:32 +0000 UTCI think we will because they casted a rather well known actor in Pedro Pascal. Otherwise The Mandalorian could've been played by a stuntman and it would have cost them a lot less. An actor probably wants to have his face on screen.
Nick
2019-11-23 17:40:32 +0000 UTCLast shot of the season will be him taking off the helmet
Deadpool
2019-11-23 16:39:13 +0000 UTCI think it's more likely the Empire Remnant is wanting to perhaps obtain DNA from Yodling for cloning? That's the only thing I can think of that would be within the Remant's power since they don't have a Sith ruling them or anything that would want the baby to train or whatever.
The Pebble
2019-11-23 15:54:42 +0000 UTCAm I suppose to believe Mandalorians dont get married and there women or man dont see there face, Be kinda silly if a Mandalorian went naked all but the Helmet.
Skeletor
2019-11-23 15:24:27 +0000 UTCI hope not but i think they need to show his face to develop more of a connection between him and baby yoda as eric said.
Asem Bensaid
2019-11-23 14:19:18 +0000 UTCIn the 3rd episode I thought he would take it off and put baby Yoda in it during the battle but I think it might be a possibility in the finally that he does do something like that, I on the other hand don't want him to take it off for some reason thinking of him as the faceless Bounty Hunter makes him a better and more relatable character in my mind
The Jarl
2019-11-23 13:54:34 +0000 UTCOff topic but I must admit it's refreshing that there hasn't been any toy spoilers like Lego sets etc.
Robert Trainer
2019-11-23 12:17:05 +0000 UTCI'll probably be the last ep or it'll come off but we wont see his face.
2019-11-23 11:36:23 +0000 UTCI think it gonna happen, because in the second trailer we saw the Mandalorian and a woman who we haven’t met yet, and she was in the process of what seemed to be helmet removal. It could just be a bait and switch but I’m not sure I could go a whole season without seeing that handsome man’s face.
lewis is your patron
2019-11-23 11:26:29 +0000 UTCI hope so. Maybe I'm alone in this but I personally feel the silent hero that never shows his face trope can get tiring afer a while.
2019-11-23 11:02:16 +0000 UTCI don't think he'll remove it willingly; his face can be showed in part through a damaged helmet, like Anakin's face in Rebels.
Morgan Allen
2019-11-23 11:01:08 +0000 UTCI don't think that will happen THIS season, and IF he removes it at all, It will be in one of the last episodes of the series. But personally, I hope it never happens, because it would definitely take away from how interesting the Mandalorian character is, and, in a way, cheapen him.
Quwykxz
2019-11-23 10:32:13 +0000 UTCThe trailer showed briefly a woman removing his helmet, guessing a love interest, or long lost family
Melly
2019-11-23 09:23:29 +0000 UTCat least one time yes
2019-11-23 09:20:06 +0000 UTCYes, to protect baby yoda at the end of the season
2019-11-23 08:24:23 +0000 UTCyes, when he is alone or only with baby yoda.
Jens B
2019-11-23 07:57:49 +0000 UTCOf course he will! You don't hire someone as beautiful as Pedro Pascal to hide under a bucket for 12 episodes!
Axis 77
2019-11-23 07:29:19 +0000 UTCThey don’t remove them in public so I’m sure in private in his ship he has before to eat, can you imagine taking a shower in nothing but that helmet?!
Ziegenbagel
2019-11-23 06:42:58 +0000 UTCI say yes, but if it does happen this season I see it being at the very end of the last episode as a cliff hanger toward season 2. Also, wondering if there will be any tie ins to Rise of Skywalker as the film comes out a week before the final episode of this season.
Ziegenbagel
2019-11-23 06:41:37 +0000 UTCI hope not. Maybe there will be a close call. If it happens I don’t think he face will be shown.
LKG
2019-11-23 06:18:43 +0000 UTCIf he doesn't take of his helmet how does he eat. For a serious response I think he will, but I don't think it'll happen until the end of the season by being knocked off or something.
2019-11-23 05:20:52 +0000 UTCI thought there was a scene in the final trailer where a woman put her hands on his helmet...?
arliss123
2019-11-23 04:54:23 +0000 UTCMy guess is that baby Yoda will probably get to aggressive and hostile at some point and he will take his helmet off to calm him down. if he does we won’t see his face But maybe not this season
ChiefChill
2019-11-23 04:31:59 +0000 UTCForget his backstory. We better get more info on the helmets. If they literally mean never, how do they eat? Or brush their teeth? Or shave? Or deal with sneezing? I need answers!
Sojtus
2019-11-23 04:31:47 +0000 UTCShort answer: no. Long answer: f*** no!
Paul Gregory
2019-11-23 04:18:47 +0000 UTCNo they wont that would be lame as hell
Sirk
2019-11-23 04:06:13 +0000 UTCI think he'll remove it, but only to show the audience. So, when no one is around to see it.
Walter Alcaraz
2019-11-23 04:01:49 +0000 UTCBased on how much they are saying "don't take it off! This is the way," it is absolutely possible. The foreshadowing is strong in this one. However, I really hope not. Tbe tone of the show is wonderful with the masked space cowboy. As much as I would love to see that smexy face of Pedro's, I am a sucker for a man in a mask. Plus, I am more excited about Favreau and Faloni playing in a Star Wars sandbox than whether or not the helmet comes off. :)
2019-11-23 03:57:43 +0000 UTCNo. The only way it happens is if Gizmoda uses the force on it, playing as a child does sometimes.
Jonathon Gray
2019-11-23 03:49:40 +0000 UTCI think the only person he will show his face to is the Child.
Dominic D
2019-11-23 03:49:29 +0000 UTCI believe he will take it off later in the series, but we won’t see his face because of the camera angle. Plus, we shouldn’t, it is not the way.
Viltaryn
2019-11-23 03:49:12 +0000 UTCI don't think he will take the helmet off this season but if he does, we're just going to see him setting the helmet down but we still won't get to see his face. I bet this is how the final episode of the season will end.
Dr. Longclaw
2019-11-23 03:47:10 +0000 UTCI’m not so sure I think it will be cool if he does but I’m Second guessing that it’s too early I think you’ll be better next season
Williammundy
2019-11-23 03:22:46 +0000 UTCProbably yes, when you setup a character that NEVER does something in Act I, they'll find a reason to do it by the end.
n p
2019-11-23 03:18:57 +0000 UTCYes, I have spoken
Josh Bornman
2019-11-23 03:16:28 +0000 UTCI think it will be the last scene of the finale as a dramatic ending moment, maybe something cool to lead into next season
KobyWan17
2019-11-23 03:10:33 +0000 UTCYes! Because i want to see that beautiful face of Pedro Pascal at least once

2019-11-23 03:01:19 +0000 UTCHe ain't takin that shit off. Also his signet is totally gonna be a yodling right?
Micah
2019-11-23 02:56:38 +0000 UTCno but someone else will take it off
spencer
2019-11-23 02:56:17 +0000 UTCEither he will never remove it or remove it in the last scene of the SHOW Master Chief style
Joel
2019-11-23 02:53:30 +0000 UTCI believe he's going to remove his helmet, revealing... another helmet underneath. And when he takes off that helmet, he has bandages wrapped around his whole head. And when he unravels the bandages, he has a mask on covering his whole face. And when he take off the mask, he's wearing a lot of face paint. And when he removes the face paint, it finally reveals... that he doesn't even have a face at all!!!
BlueSpiderManiac
2019-11-23 02:52:21 +0000 UTCNo, but when it does come off it will be removed by an Imperial, furthering his hatred for the Empire.
2019-11-23 02:49:53 +0000 UTCI think something related to Baby Yoda will make him take it off.
Michael Rutherford
2019-11-23 02:49:35 +0000 UTCYeah I think so I mean you don’t hire a man as good looking as Pedro Pascal and not show his face
Christian Bolda
2019-11-23 02:48:51 +0000 UTCIt goes against his way of life so no I don’t think that he will
Rah Sheen
2019-11-23 02:48:15 +0000 UTCI voted yes because I think it will happen even though I want him to wear it the whole time.
Melissa Gunterman
2019-11-23 02:47:34 +0000 UTCI highly doubt it because of his commitment to the mandalorian code. If his helmet comes off it will most likely be caused by an enemy.
Kyle Storts
2019-11-23 02:47:08 +0000 UTCNo, it's like Judge Dredd...never unmask.
Robert Trainer
2019-11-23 02:46:22 +0000 UTCSeason Finale end scene he will remove his helmet
