Do you think Oliver's recent actions against The Monitor are ultimately within what The Monitor wants and to serve his plans in the lead up to The Crisis?
Comments
Correct me if i’m wrong but hasn’t MONITOR seen the future? so doesn’t it have to be part of his plan?

2019-11-25 03:54:37 +0000 UTCI don't believe it was part of the Monitor's original plan but he's pretty much all knowing. He's manipulating events to get Oliver to what he wants anyhow.

2019-11-23 03:05:35 +0000 UTCMonitor has an agenda, and Oliver is going off-script. Monitor's not about to let that shit slide.

2019-11-22 21:46:35 +0000 UTCI think Monitor is trying to stop Oliver from building the device, not because it could kill him, but because it could make the Anti-Monitor stronger. Remember, it's based on antimatter.
2019-11-22 03:40:21 +0000 UTCWhat is the plan? - There is no plan. Bonus points if you know what that's from.

2019-11-22 03:34:28 +0000 UTCYes, only because I just watched Dark, and now I know it's all connected.

2019-11-21 21:28:08 +0000 UTCI think the bigger question is how funny would it of been if we saw the Monitor use a blowpipe to tranquillise them, with some camo paint on.
2019-11-21 19:37:54 +0000 UTCI assume since he's "asking" for help he knows he can't do it alone, otherwise if he did then what's the point in any of this?

2019-11-21 14:55:51 +0000 UTCOf course it’s part of the plan, but it’s the part of the plan that kills us all instead. Damn it Barry.... I mean Oliver...
Andrew Courtney
2019-11-21 11:10:42 +0000 UTCAbsolutely, they need the weapon to kill the anti monitor.

2019-11-21 10:02:14 +0000 UTCThe Monitor instructed Laurel to steal the plans, so he definitely knows what Oliver is up to. However I believe it was a test for Laurel. We have seen The Monitor take people through space and time so if he didn’t want Oliver doing what he’s doing, he could easily stop him at any time.

2019-11-21 04:24:12 +0000 UTChow else do you prepare someone to kill a god? rest my case lol
Matt Modlinski
2019-11-21 03:28:22 +0000 UTCyes he knew the type of man oliver is when he made the deal so he worked around it but he made sure to send lyla to put oliver in check if oliver tries to pull a fast one

2019-11-21 02:32:24 +0000 UTCI think it is part of his plan. My only reasoning is Spoilers for the Crisis on Infinite Earths Comic. But the show might not go that way. So we'll see.

2019-11-21 02:29:54 +0000 UTCIts probably all a test to make sure everyone is ready. Same as telling Barry he is going to die.

2019-11-21 02:29:52 +0000 UTCYes, all according to Cake.
ObligedUniform
2019-11-21 02:04:29 +0000 UTCI feel like Oliver has been fed information about the Anti-Monitor due to nobody actually knowing there's two of them and so is not working within the Monitor's plans, but this could also be a twist on the comic stuff so who knows.
Kevin Bartelen
2019-11-21 02:01:27 +0000 UTCNo i don't think it's what he wants but i am sure he's aware of what Oliver is doing and he will interfere sooner or later
Dip602
2019-11-21 01:55:29 +0000 UTCAll I can say is the Monitor is making a better story than Chuck
Joel
2019-11-21 01:55:12 +0000 UTCBoth!
Luis Garcia
2019-11-21 01:50:15 +0000 UTCThe monitor makes no god damn sense i hope they explain everything. He's alsways asking others to do things for him, and Nash Wells is calling him a false god, so he might not be as powerful as he seems.
I Am Groot
2019-11-21 01:46:36 +0000 UTCI feel like the monitor would have some wicked witch of the west crystal ball and would always know what’s going on and could appear at any moment, so I’d say this has to be part of his plan or Oliver would have been approached by now.... also what’s the chances you guys would be interested in re reacting to the pilot episode bring that we only have 2 more regular arrow episode left???
I am Ironman
2019-11-21 01:45:01 +0000 UTCFirstly I choose both because I could and secondly I think it’s all part of the plan I think he knows exactly how everything is supposed to end and what needs to be done
Christian Bolda
2019-11-21 01:43:58 +0000 UTCShit! I don’t know! Uhh 4!
Gavin Hardiman
2019-11-21 01:43:40 +0000 UTCI don’t know if I’d call it part of plan, but I think the Monitor knew Oliver would ultimately move against him and counted on it. Everything is proceeding as he as foreseen
2019-11-21 01:42:30 +0000 UTCThe monitor seems like he knows what he’s doing. He’s to smart and powerful to not get what he wants
ChiefChill
2019-11-21 01:41:43 +0000 UTCI don't think it'd be part of his plan if he was trying to stop them
