Before this season I thought they'd both die. But having seen Jensen make comments about the possibility of them 'always up for coming back to do a movie in a few years' I think maybe just Sam will die. Then that kind of leaves the door half-open for the future.

I get the feeling they've been telling us the ending since the beginning of them finding out about angels & Demons. They'll both be "alive" but they'll be taking the rolls they've been told they would. Sam will rule Hell via whatever Darkness Cas felt trying to heal him and Dean will take Heaven via Michael possession right at the best worst possible moment.

It makes me weep, but I can't think of any way of it ending other than for them both to die. I know Jared has said for many years that he thinks it needs to end that way. Jensen has been more close mouthed.

After everything they've been through, I want them both to finally be at peace, and I think the only way for that to happen is for them both to die. They definitely won't be at peace if only one of them dies, and we've seen what happens when either of them try to give up hunting.

I imagine the last shot of the Series to be Sam and Dean prepping themselves the last time for a job. they coming to a city who burns or something (you hear screams and explosions) - Its all in front of them. And after a little dialogue they loading their guns, fist bump and jump into danger - fade to black

I think that Dean, who has always been sick and tired of all of the big bad that shows up, will have to either kill Sam or Sam kills himself to kill Chuck. Dean will finally be able to sit back and not deal with world ending events
