Adam is a Bull Faunus. He was branded, much like cattle are, by Weiss' family company. They have "questionable labor practices."

adam's story is reflective of how that destructive mindset of his goes. it was set up very early on that adam is just spite to his core, someone who believed he was owed the world. he was also set up as a direct opposite to yang, even down to their semblances. it was nothing if not a fitting death for someone like him

It's important to remember that Adam lost the trust of the Whitefang at the end of the last volume when he tried to blow them up after he lost the battle...A battle he lost because of Blake. She was the cause of his downfall on top of the whole ex thing, he lost any sense of purpose except for killing Blake.

It makes her wrong in the fact that she busted out her greatest defense for some kids

I think people are misjudging the military lady. In her eyes these kids tried to steal military property. The world believes atlas had a part in the fall of beacon, so she is defending atlas. Also no entry or leave allowed from atlas, so she is in the right to refuse them passage. She is terribly patriotic, but it doesnt make her wrong.

The thing with adam is he never really cared about the cause the white fang was a justification for his revenge on humanity
