This episode was awesome. The only issue I had was with the robot catching the missile. The Blake & Yang Vs Adam is honestly now one of my favorite RWBY fights

Adam putting his sword away is an actual style of swordplay called iaido. It focuses on quick draws, which is why he sheaths it after most of his attacks. Also, the fights this episode were definitely awesome (loved Adam's afterimages), but I really wish they could have done Yang's entrance without Adam falling for Blake's shadow trick. Adam fought alongside Blake for years, and he's also fell for Blake's shadow twice already since the beginning of this series. I feel like he should have wised up to that by now.

Yeah the marking on Adams face is the Schnee Dust Company branding (SDC). Adam got messed up in atlas in his past which is why I'd say he is mental.
