There are two ways I see them bringing JJ back into the show. 1. FTA (Future Team Arrow) have to make an uneasy alliance with the Deathstroke Gang to bolster their numbers and help beat the bad guys, possibly leading into number 2. He steps in to fill the power vacuum left when the Glades leadership and army falls.

I feel like if there was ever a time to see him, this would have been it. At least right now, I don’t see him having any relevance to the remaining few episodes, and with next season being so short I’m hoping that we spend all of it in present day.

It's understandable to forget things. Legends started in the middle of season 2 of Flash, so that's when we had the Connor episode. I'm assuming in that timeline, since Dig had a daughter, they might not have given birth to a son, so they gave the name they would have named their son to Connor. So I think that's the same guy, just turned out differently.

No. If we see him it will be next season. I definitely think he'd show up in Star City 2049 though.

Galaxy One seems to be a big problem so we probably won’t see JJ this season. Maybe next season or HOPEFULLY a Connor Hawke spinoff

The question is alittle hard to answer. Am I saying yes to him being in the flash forwards or am I saying yes to him being in a spin-off. Either way I would like to see him in the flash forwards and he could be just a little bad guy then in a spin-off a bigger foe
