So funny thing, that big flat area when looking at the aftermath of the bomb going off. That's not actually a flat area. You can't see any of the detail due to how they drew it, but that's actually the entire Britannian Tokyo Settlement. So that bomb di way more than just destroy the Government building. It destroyed almost 75 % of the city.

Ahh ok so after looking it up. Britain f'd up after some shit around Napoleon, the French invaded England and won, then the nobles and Royals fled to the Colonies where they just end up starting Britania. No nukes were made during the Great Wars, but instead 4th Gen Knightmares were implimented, Meaning Nina Einstein developed the first "nuke" similar to how her real world counterpart does.

According to the lore if the story, not spoilers btw just things you pick up on, this is a timeline where slight changes happened in Europe indirectly that made it so the American Colonists didnt end up winning the War for Independence. Even so its not like Great Wars didn't happen because you can see them in C.C.s past.

I doubt the nuke exist in this world so it's the first time Japon got nuked.

I've seen some people make that mistake, and I think it's because o Code Geass' futuristic setting; you see a lot of city remaining around the Tokyo Settlement and think "oh good, only the government building complex got hit". The thing is, this is Tokyo many years into the future (of an alternative timeline no less); the area that was blown up IS the area that a regular nuke would destroy, it's just that the city is really fucking massive.

You guys it was a nuke pretty much. They made the F.L.E.I.J.A. in such a way where it wont leave smoke and debris. S1 the concept of the bomb was described to theoretically destroy the entire Tokyo Settlement, which its shown here. The one thing I dislike about CG is the lack of detail when looking at Tokyo from a birds eye view. Looks like a giant mirror with some random sky scrapers.it doesn't quite emphasize the severity of what just happened. But yeah not just the Government Burreu but a good chunk of Tokyo. Poor Japan. Nuked 3 times and the third time by one of its own.
