Star Wars Resistance 1x16 Poll!

Pretty sure they'll meet again but more like a future cameo like Poe has been, and not until this new droid (forgot her name) gets more development

Personally I hope they do I love the bond they've developed, Also there are many ways they can have the reunion happen. Maybe Kaz stumbles onto a First order fleet ship coming in and out of port and happens to stowaway and get brought to Poe and BB. This can't be the end I wont accept it!

Yes, I don't think Poe's mission is the actual Jakku mission where TFA begins. It just doesn't seem right for the show to jump right into it. I think it would be cool for Poe and Kaz to find Lor San Tekka, and then the next time we see Poe on Jakku is the movie.

I think that the fact that Kaz’s Voice actor Christopher Sean was the model for how Kaz looks on the show is an indication that he could show up in a live action in Episode 9.

Unrelated, but you guys were wondering how they got through the core of the planet with the gravity well so quickly in this episode and I think the answer is that they are not exactly planets. Kaz calls them “planetoids” and when you see them enter the core of one it puts their size into perspective as the ships are very big compared to the planetoid. That would also explain why they were surprised at the gravity wells being there since they thought the planetoids were too small to have them.

Yes but probably not until season 2, assuming that season 2 will take place after the last Jedi. We still don’t know anything about what happens after the last Jedi so it would be a nice place for the show to pick up, and have bb-8 and Kaz meet again.

In the resistance rewind show on the star wars channel they confirmed that most of these planets are failed attempts at drilling and creating star killer base but I think they also tested the laser because the sun was gone.

Fingers crossed for yes. Maybe in episode IX? But more likely I think they'll cross paths in season 2 of Resistance to help bridge the gap between The Last Jedi and IX.
