Code Geass 2x7 Reaction Early Access!

I think they enjoy it. It's just a lot of info to keep track off when you aren't binging it. Remember it's one episode a week and normally they have at least one person who has watched the show before. And this is the most complexted anime they have watched a lomlng with AoT (And they mess that up too). FMA, one punch man and MHA were a lot simoler than this as there was fewer characters to keep track off.

Guys you’ve heard the name Marianna from C2 many times, and you’ve seen Nina at her new job, and the submarine, and the underwater nightmares and a whole bunch of other things you’ve forgotten. You guys really don’t pay attention with this show and it’s clear you don’t really enjoy it. That’s fine, I just wish you had the flexibility to drop shows you weren’t interested in.

Fun fact: Those guys in the alley that Lelouch geassed to do squats, pushups, ect. were never told to stop. Let me repeat, they were never told to stop. From that day until the day that Lelouch either loses his power, his memory or dies, those guys will still be doing that if they aren't dead from exhaustion, dehydration or starvation.

I doubt that anything else could argue its own existence more eloquently.” That is, to this day, one of my favourite quotes in the entire show. It really stuck with me. And this episode has actually become one of my favourites as well. A lot of people complain that it's too slow, but I think it's a wonderful little character piece, especially for Lelouch, and a needed little break, and then it finishes off with some great scheming and action and a good cliffhanger. I love the interplay and changing scenes between Lelouch, Kallen and Rolo in the Shinjuku area as well, I think it's a wonderful scene (or couple of scenes). And then the rooftop scene, I have to admit, gets me a bit choked up, especially when he remembers everyone who should be there. As Eric said, Lelouch has always been protective of his family. Nunnally was for the longest time the only family he had, and then Suzaku came into the picture - but he's slowly grown close to all of these people as well, and if there's one thing that Lelouch does, it's care, a lot, and very deeply (and sometimes destructively, like we see how it happens when his care for a person goes against his plans, like here with Nunnally). So I think his realisations in that scene, and his promise to come back and set of fireworks with them, in this little moment of happiness, is just really nice. And the music is wonderful in that scene too.
