I don’t think she’ll give Nia powers; I think Nia has powers already. Her “narcolepsy” she was being so weird about is probably exhaustion from going out to fight crime at night. Best candidate for getting powers from Lena is Manchester IMO—he was a hero-going-too-far turned villain in the comics and it seems they’re going that way here too.

Yes-ish. I think she'll give a couple of people powers, who will turn bad, have to be put down by Supergirl, which will "out" her project, James will break up with her, and she'll loose Kara and Supergirl's friendships over it. There was a similar storyline in the comics, where Lex created his own team of metas.

I think she will give someone powers, that person will become bad and have to be stopped and Lena will realise her mistake

I think she will and I also think that is what will destroy her relation with Jimmy later the season. I hope she gives the powers to Nia or Manchester but I think the powers will end up with Agent of Liberty which would be very unfortunate.

I hope she does. There’s no reason not to. If everyone is super, no one will be. Humans will just be stronger and more durable to more easily defend against alien threats.

I think she will succeed but it will have some sort of a side effect or the person she gives it to will turn out to be bad either way she will feel guilt over it.
