Code Geass 1x9 Reaction Early Access!

Seems like they are enjoying the show so far, on to episode 10!

this was a bit of a weird episode the changes in tone gives a whiplash effect, im guessing blind wave thought it was filler due to the cat festival part so they treated it less seriously so they kinda stopped paying attention for the most part. Also keep in mind these are a week apart so naturally its hard to remember what happened last time.

From the comments people seem to be pissed that they aren't getting into the show that much, but there is no guarantee that they have to like every show chosen in a poll. I mean it had to come one day that a poll chosed show would be a miss for them, they won't just like everything sent their way. Sure they could still get into it, I'm just saying people shouldn't get pissed about reactions not going their way if it's a show the guys personally didn't choose to watch.

I don't get what everybody is mad about I thought their reaction was just fine, Eric was more talking about the pace of the anime and all of the names to remember, it takes a while to get everything down, but everybody else seemed to be following along fine and Eric quickly caught up with them. I didn't see any disinterest in the show present here, just confusion and stumbling over the correct names for everybody we've already seen so far. Anyway they'll get it in time, but seriously people in the comments seem to be just whinging to me.

I think the biggest thing is most of them are simply not use to anime such as this. It's like another language for them which makes sense on why it feels faster to them then to other who have seen pacing or styles of anime that are closer to this. Eric a prime example knows more of shows such as D-ball and Avatar Rick on the other hand had no problem really keeping up and he has seen many more. To add to this they are reacting an talking making them miss blocks of time which can be a determent in something that is always changing scene or moving it creates holes in the continuity that can only be filled with experience.

essentially a crack den or place for them to hallucinate there fantasy's away from the outside world. if that doesn't make sense then image that you were wondering around town covered in cocaine.

I've seen this episode 4-5 times now, and it is still easily my least favorite episode in the series, I get their not being too into it. Also, to this day, I still don't get why all those people were randomly in the warehouse... did I miss something? I get they were addicted to drugs, and in the case of the mom, she was out, but I don't get why they were all just lollygagging around locked in the warehouse.

I see a lot of people getting annoyed at Blind Waves reaction, but I completely understand why they're not fully on board with this show. It's not as good as people hype it up to be. The only character people really have interest in this show is LeLouch, all the other characters are pretty 2D. But mainly this is definitely too far deep into anime cliches for a lot of people to get into, as you can see with these guys.

CG has many flaws and I knew these guys would spot them because overanalysing is their niche. Months ago when people started suggesting CG in the comments of other reactions I responded to a lot of people that if they ever did BW would nitpick the hell out of the flaws of the anime. I'm not the biggest fan of CG so I don't really care, but I did see this coming.

When it comes to this particular show, i think sometimes the guys (especially Eric) try to disect the littlest things that have little to or no value of importance at all. Kinda feel at times he likes to do that to show that he wasnt wrong about his initial impression of the show, but idk. Last week was a fun reaction tho!
