Is it covering the Cultist Funeral for Kira and Ryuk back in the Shinigami World? I remember that being such a strong end in the manga, the anime end seemed weak in comparison.

That scene was from the first OVA which is the first part of the series converted into a movie. In the ova, ryuk has gone back to the shinigami world after light's death and and is retelling the 1st 25 episodes from his POV to another shinigami who also wants to go to the human world. Then at the end of the OVA, ryuk implies that the shinigami he told the story to is actually light reincarnated into a shinigami but with no memory of his past, which technically means that now light can start his reign all over again

I would say maybe the title should be changed for those who haven’t seen Death Note yet? Though I know you’ll probably want it in the YouTube title when it goes public to get the clicks, but maybe switch it to OVA at least on Patreon?
