Saladin gave Richard a horse, really to say he was too great a warrior, and had to fight on a horse instead of on foot :-) brilliant writing!! Confusing scene at first, but I loved the whole vibe. Also the "HEATHEN!!" "Christian". Simple as that.

2018-06-07 17:51:13 +0000 UTCDying in battle with a great enemy warrior is fast track to Valhalla, so Ivarrs warriors would have no problem with how that went. Loki would be brought back to Europe by the Gulf Stream, which would probably seem magical to him.
