The Walking Dead 8x9 Poll!

i think it will be a time jump between season 8 and 9. I hope it is cause maybe the show would become more intresting again.

i think it was a misdirect by having carl bring it up i think what we saw was actually whats going to happen its just a coincidence that carl said it the way he did

I voted No. However, since Carl has been killed off and had the promise between him and Rick of a better future perhaps including Negan, I don't see how they can continue with this "war" without shitting all over Carls final ideals of peace. At this point, the Walking Dead story in the show has drifted the furthest from the comics and therefore they could have decided to completely disregard the comics entirely.

I hope there's a time jump at some point but I would like to see Negan's transformation to a good guy played out on screen, not just skipped by a time jump (assuming he indeed becomes a reformed character).

I said yes but I honestly don't know. I used to think they would never kill Carl but I was wrong so now I just hope that the show can pick up the pace.

I hope we get a time jump, it could change the storyline to something new and refreshing, which i think the show really needs, and it would be a much better reason for Carl's death than just using him as a plot tool to change Ricks motivations.

I feel like that last shot of the episode where rick is laying down looking sick with blood on his hand is from a future episode indicating he might die, or maybe not seeing as how the show just got renewed,for season 9. Also, I'm worried we might lose Maggie this season since lauren Cohan just got a lead role for a new show

I say yes. I think that they will do a larger time jump than in the comics and have Judith be much older than she was in Carl’s dream. I see them having Judith take over Carl’s role from the comics, similar to Andrea and Michonne.

I vote no, but I'll leave it to you to tell me in future reactions because I quit this damn show. Not because Carl was my favorite, indeed I always hated him. But because the show has sucked for three seasons straight and I'm sick of wasting my time on it. To me, this is the biggest fall from grace (on TV) since Lost and Dexter.

I voted yes as I seriously really hope we do get a time jump this damn season. I agree with Shane completely. I want to move on from the slow pace & somewhat repetitive themes I've felt recently and just be introduced to a cool new world with interesting new threats.

They do that in the comics, but who the fuck knows anymore they killed coraaaaalllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!
