At this point in the series, everybody pretty much 'knows' that there are aliens, but many people kind of put it to the back of their minds or pretend it's not true.

2018-02-23 00:17:46 +0000 UTCThis season is roughly 2007 - 2008, Since Martha's here it's more to the ending of 2007 or start/Mid 2008. Easy way to look at it is that each season of Doctor Who is a Year apart so you'll have to work it with Torchwood.
