While I love BSG, and would love to see your reactions, a word of warning. Apparently the copy write holder of BSG is EXTREMELY anti-reactions. Another reactor (Hunter Boyle) started doing the show a few months ago, and eventually gave up because like every video was taken down for random things (even though they were all under 10 min, and didn't have music, etc...).

Black Sails is pretty good guys. There's a lot of grey characters though.

Personally, I don't think LOST is a good choice if you want theories and speculations because Eric, Shane, and Aaron have seen all of it and Calvin has seen 2,5 seasons of it. So they can't go too deep with the theories and speculations because of spoilers for Rick.

Fringe is cool, but the one i'd highly recommend isn't on the list, that would be Black Mirror

If you ever do BSG on Youtube, watch out for strikes. Youtuber Hunter Boyle was watching the show and got in trouble. She even had to stop with her reviews. Maybe you or one of your editors could contact her to learn more. Its such a great show, but I just wanted to warn you that they have other rules then the 10min. of showing the content(HBO, etc)

Jimmy Macram did a good reaction to Black Sails. The main character, Captain Flint, is now his third favorite TV character of all time (after Frank Underwood and another guy I'd never heard of). Three or four other BS characters made it into his Top 25 all time, and I think he put this show in his Top 5 all time. His reactions were good! I think the guys will have great discussions watching it.

It's a shame you guys haven't seen more comedy anime. I mean, I understand why; Unless you've seen a lot of anime (and I mean a lot of anime) you'll miss certain jokes... That being said, English dubs do there best to translate jokes (to varying degrees of success), sometimes rewriting entire scripts and stories for an anime to make them more entertaining for western audiences... If you want an extreme example of this, Ghost Stories, an anime so average it was pretty well overlooked in japan, was completely reworked for the english dub. Turning it into a fantastic mesh of Good Writing, Meta Humor, and Improv! I doubt you guys will check it out, but it's worth a watch all the same... Wow ... my mind went completely off track... I was thinking the same thing but I went with Black Sails because I want to watch them all watch something together and be able to predict what's coming next without any one of them knowing the answers. I loved watching the catch-up Game of Thrones series back with Eric and Calvin and now the new trio, but I love watching the new seasons even more because they get to think through everything and come up with ideas collectively. And personally, I think Black Sails is a better show than Fringe, but that's entirely subjective. They're both great. What I'm most excited for is that I'm so sure that they're gonna do both (one now and one later, maybe during summer). Which is another reason I voted for Black Sails. It's the frontrunner now and I don't want another show that isn't one of those two passing it.

I feel like there is never a point to me voting, because the shows i want them to watch are never the "popular" thing of the time. My issue is that the older a show is, if it isn't super popular forever, will never get picked. BSG shouldn't be in the running with shows like Fringe or Black Sails or Lost. Black Sails is a dramatic epic from STARZ, aka the non-mainstream HBO-like premium cable network, which means they don't have to censor anything (language, action scenes, sex scenes, etc.). Not to say a show needs those to be awesome, but in Black Sails, it brings life into a very real world. The characters are not only flawed, they're straight up villains on occasion, and yet never ever unrelatable or fake. The plot is complex, but presented in an understandable manner that leaves room for casual fans to gape in awe at the varying in scale action scenes and for the serious TV watchers (aka the boys of Blind Wave) to predict future events. This show is perfect for Blind Wave, just as Game of Thrones or Westworld is. If you enjoyed those reactions, this series will live up to your high expectations.

Out of the series I've seen, Black Sails is a clear pick, as it gives great opportunities for speculation and has interesting plot twists for reactions. Might not get many views though, but I doubt any of the other series would be much better in that sense. Lost could be more mainstream and bring some new audience, but personally I'm not too keen on watching reactions to such a mediocre series for three years.

This is the first time I've looked at a poll and Black Sails has had more than, what, 6%? And I'm SO HAPPY. WE MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE THIS TIME. I didn't ever think that Black Sails would mean as much to me as it ended up doing. I mean, I liked it at first. But it just kept growing, and has ended up as one of my favorite shows of all time, probably top 5. The new Berserk is ass and a fucking eyesore. Plus you'd kinda have to watch the Netflix movies beforehand to really appreciate it. Fringe is fine. Lost is meh. If you guys are going to do Berserk FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T WATCH THE 2016 VERSION. Watch either the 1997 Berserk anime or the 3 Berserk movies. Personally I recommend that you guys watch the 1997 anime but the movies are decent also. If you guys decide that 1997 Berserk is too old and you don't want to do movies, then i suggest watching Devilman Crybaby on Netflix. Its original run is what basically inspired Berserk but this new series is a modern take on it and is pretty good if you can handle the art style and adult themes.
