I would guess it’s Thanos, if only because it would be a terrible fate for humanity if The Avengers save Earth from Thanos only for Earth to be destroyed by something else a few years later. I’m hoping they tie in with something similar to Theta Protocol, where maybe they go back in time to during Infinity War and play a minor role away from the main action that lets the Avengers win.

I think that the reason thanos won was because the agents of shield were technically never there because they went into the future. Because of this maybe they had a specific role to help stop thanos but because they weren’t there. Thanos won

I would love it to be all about Thanos, but I doubt the show could go there. More likely that Daisy did it, but maybe her powers got enhanced due to something that we haven't seen yet.

I hope it is a result of Infinity War, perhaps Daisy shatters the gauntlet causing Thanos to lose control of all the stones. I'm going to say that it won't be that unfortunately

As much as I would LOVE for it to be an alternate reality where Thanos won, I just feel like such a tie in won't happen. Like, how does this show tie Thanos & his army destroying the world in half without showing Thanos and/or his army destroying the planet, and The Avengers.

It's pretty obvious Zeke has little information and is jumping at the first thing that makes sense to him. I think it's Thanos and since they're detached from the movies it's an easy way to tie into the movie without really participating.

The Kree showing up after Earth's destruction was too convenient to be a coincidence. I think they were involved, but I don't know how. Maybe they have an Infinity Stone? Or maybe the humans and Inhumans accidentally destroyed Earth trying to fight off the Kree?

I think its Thanos, and the team is going to have to somehow warn the avengers who will use that intel to prepare which would work similar to the tie in at the beginning of Age of Ultron like how coulson found loki's staff

If it’s Thanos then wouldn’t SHIELD need to be the ones to stop him as they are the only ones who know and the Avengers would have already lost the fight.

I'll be honest I don't think it's going to be Thanos (that would be though awesome). They won't connect to the movie because it takes away a lot of freedom from the show (like season 1). Hoping for it to be connect to thanos is like saying "flash won't be back episode 1 of season 4" :)

With Infinity War right around the corner (which, holy shit, by the way), it would make sense for them to tie the Earth's destruction into Thanos.

I don't think Daisy on her own could destroy Earth, I think Thanos used both the Mind & Power stones to control Daisy and to amplify her powers so that she could destroy Earth.

Hoping for Thanos, but Marvel Studios will probably show them no love. The season half of the season may be a new "pod" with the team returning to present day to deal with the planet killer. If it's not Thanos, it might involve the previous show history. Either Graviton or a tie in with Black Bolt.

I imagine it may have been Daisy vs an unnamed villain, and earth was destroyed during the fight. Then that unnamed villain being the big bad in the final pod to tie it all together

I think Fitz destroyed earth during one of his attempts to get them back. So now they're going to have to tell Fitz not to save them, in order to save Earth!

Black bolt didt it. This could be possible just because we already saw a connection with inhumans and agents of shield. The confusion that Quake did it could be because black bolt has similar vibrational powers.

Wait, now that I had a few extra minutes to think about it...... Disney ORDERED ABC to bring back AoS after ABC decided to cancel it.....so MAYBE, Kevin Feige wanted AoS for another season, and threw our beloved team a lifeline....then......Thanos COULD be in AoS, and maybe AoS will cross into MCU....HOLY SH*T I'm losing my mind!!!!!!!!

So the Framework still exists even if it is hallowed out. What do you think that means exactly?

I don't expect, even though I sincerely hope, that Thanos would be tied in so directly into AoS. Remember, MCU is now a standalone unit within Disney, and as sad as it is, I don't think Kevin Feige likes to share his toys with the TV division.

Having Thanos destroy the earth means the show is part of the MCU and that means we could see them in the movies...would be amazing.

I feel like it may be Daisy, but she either didn't do it on purpose, i.e. the planet shattered as an unexpected result, or, she was mind controlled again, by the Kree, so they can use the Earth's destruction as an excuse to enslave humanity.

I think it was Thanos, but he could have used the mind stone on her to make her destroy Earth.

I will bet it had something to do with Daisy fighting an enemy and going to far, but I would love a Thanos tie in that would be epic. Only if they were included in part two.
