freecostco

They've been informed. No worries.

Ryan Hopkins

There is no amount of episodes that will warrant 2 episodes a week. It's never going to happen.

Qrowe

I wish there was enough episodes to make this a two-per week exception... So far the crew is reacting how I did when I started: interested but a little confused. Can’t wait for the main plot to begin next week!

As a notice, episodes 4, 8 & 13 has after-credits scenes.

Gustav Sulingga Wahrberg

You guys are going to love this show once it gets going haha. Like some peeps have said though, Deku is definitely an emotional kid, he reminds me a lot of Aang from Avatar in that way and one thing I love about both characters. Showing emotion shouldn't be looked at as a weakness. Outside of comedic effect as well, the times he let his emotions get the better of him are pretty justifiable and things I'd probably cry about too lol.

Voreni

I think he only tears up twice in season 2? But season three will have the most emotional Deku cry of all time.

Sammy

While it is, things like the exam, Deku vs BakuGOAT, and the USJ invasion are super great and important. All the character building is what makes season 2 great, and it is what will make season 3 phenomenal. Just be glad they only have 11 episodes left in season 1. It goes fast.

Sammy

Just as a heads up, the crying does continue through a lot of the future episodes. He’s just an emotional kid - no shame in that.

Melissa Whitacre

I personally have no problem with dubs. I started with them and slowly got into subs after a while, and now i'll watch both if it suits me. This shouldn't be as big of problem for people than it should. Just be happy that it's happening. Let them enjoy themselves. :)

Yureeo

In case you missed it. All Might did in fact make it rain thanks to the change in air pressure with his punch.

coffeemilk

the doctor mentioned that powers manifest by age 4

Burooj Ahanger

Sludge is a random guy who didn't know what to do with his powers. They mentioned it in the first episode that there are a lot of people who don't know what to do with their quirks and just start wrecking things

Burooj Ahanger

They're pretty bad at remembering stuff even right after an episode they just watched finishes so I'm not surprised they would forget the previous one too lol.

Mattman

You think your greatest hero is about to tell you that you've got what it takes to be a hero with no powers? I'd be moved to tears of joy too.

P.A. Master

The reason he cried at the end was because he was so overcome with emotion. His whole life, no one ever believed in him. No one ever told hin he could be a hero. So in that moment, for All Might, the person his idolizes, to say the words he always wanted and needes to hear, it makes sense for him to be overwhelmed.

TheWerdna

So? The dub made me cry in these two episodes too. Both versions arw good

TheWerdna

yeah I have little to no problem with the actual voice work or actor choices in the dub, it's all pretty good, but as far as the scripting goes the writers made some choices that outright change some of the thematic elements of the show, and that's just kind of untenable.

Zane

I disagree 100%. The dub is great. The thing is, most people who watched the subs first prefer the sub, and most who watch the dub first prefer the dub. People tend to like the one they heard first because its what they're use to. Both versions are great.

TheWerdna

If there's one thing I would nitpick on as far as the dub/sub is concerned (and I truly love them both), it's Izuku's reasoning for saving Kacchan is kind of lost on that line "I couldn't just watch you die", implying that he only saved him because he recognized/knew him. In the sub, he says "your eyes looked like you were asking for help", which implies that he has no bias nor personal reason for trying to save someone, or anyone, other than because he just wants to help (unbeknownst to him, the essence of a true hero). Its Izuku's defining moment as a character - someone who is selfless and willing to endure all manner of hardship so long as he can help in some way. :)

Sky Sirak

If they watched the subbed version then both seasons would be good. But this shitty ass dub for the first season makes it hardly bearable when u have seen the subbed. And even the second season dub is nothing special unlike fmab which has an amazing dub

Matthew

Second season is way better lets fast forward lol

Jonathan baez

YAY!!! You guys are gonna love this show

Anthia Grant

So glad Rick is going to a part of this series reaction.

Joel S

I'm pretty sure they watched this episode straight after the first one; so how did they forget so much?

Subira

Oh man I love this series so much.

Subira

The reason why he was so moved to tears was due too his hero saying he has what it takes to be a hero but he cant because he doesnt have a quirk which makes that scene pretty powerful for me

Frozenbozo

I think that the fire hydrant guy is basically made of water, and the suits helps keeping him together

Alex Morelli

GOD DAMN FINALLY

Alex Morelli

i know you guys prefer dub , but when i what sub this first two ep give me tear

Boyd Outlaw

And the fire hydrant guy has a costume

Chance Lewis

Quirks are either passive or active

Chance Lewis
