Legend of Korra 2x11 Reaction Early Access!

All what you wrote is true. The thing is that Lin's action are presented as a joke, they laughed at that. But I don't think they think Lin was right in what she did. The intention of her comment is humorous. Isn't it? (sorry for my bad english).

I feel like, while I wouldn't exactly describe Korra and Mako's relationship as healthy in any way, I don't know if I'd go as far as to say toxic, like Calvin did, and I really wouldn't blame that all on Korra. They were both very... not good for each other. They're both people who feel like they need to be in charge and need to protect and need to have support as leaders. They were both trying to fit the other in to a mold that wasn't fitting them. (Also, the guys are saying that Korra acted badly during the break up - she did - but I remember them all laughing about Tenzin and Beifong's break up, where she trashed air temple island.. Weren't there parallells specifically drawn between both break-ups? Hmm.) Mako's behavior here though is pretty inexcusable, and I like Mako. But Korra isn't to blame in this particular situation, she doesn't remember what happened. Mako should probably have taken her to the side and explained. But it makes for good foundations for character development, and character drama, even if I'm not super enthusiastic about it or how it was handled. The Tonraq and Unalaq fight is pretty awesome, but my favorite fight in this is probably Bolin's comeback. He didn't need to be a hero on the screen, he was already a hero in real life. :) I just think it's such a fun battle to watch in the way it was made.

Yeah, I started rewatching Korra after subbing to Blindwave, and I forgot how much better Book 3 and 4 are than Book 2. Book 2 ends pretty good though.

Now I feel bad for Korra here. Yes she may have caused part of the breakup (it was really both of them) but he had a responsibility to tell her here and he completely lied in front of his current girlfriend's face. Korra is completely innocent here. She doesn't remember how she acted AND doesn't know Mako and Asami got back together. Yeah the romance is probably the worst part but it's not meant to be taken that seriously, it's not the main focus and SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are no more romances with the main cast resulting in a love triangle after this book so yay! Lol

Fuck both Korra and Mako in this season. Mako can't see a bad relationship from a good one, and Asami's getting thrown around emotionally because of it.
