Yeah, and it's a shame too because I'd have loved to learn more about some of them, Tim in particular. Even Dick Grayson kind of disappeared completely into the persona of Nightwing (seriously does he ever even take the outfit off during Season 2? I'm pretty sure he doesn't).
And I still don't really get why Mal is part of the team on the intimate level that he is. I mean yeah he knew Superboy and Megan in high school (where he was kind of a dick, as far as I recall) and he's kind of dating bumblebee, but I don't really get how that qualifies him to actively participate in the Justice League's covert ops team. That'd be like if Superman appointed Lois Lane to the Justice League, it makes no sense.

They need to see Linkara's Blue Beetle retrospective. Also His teentitans three parter. They do not need to react to it but after this season will give the guys a much needed backround.

The downside to five year timeskip is not all the new characters got their back stories established or they weren't really fleshed out well. Things like how Bumble Bee and Mal join d the team or Wonder Girl's relationship to Wonder Woman aren't really developed that well. Some characters like Lagoon Boy only had one function and weren't ever developed. I think the show had canon comicbook that filled out some of these stories, but would have liked more of that to have happened in the show.

Yea they weren’t Introduced really well but I knew who they were.

Bumble Bee is The Atom's sidekick. She originally started off learning from Dr. Palmer (The Atom) when she got in college and she ended up getting her power in a sort of similar way, causing her to shrink like The Atom. Mal is her bf from when they were in high school when the young justice members were in high school s1. In the comics their story, mainly hers is more fleshed out and deeper than what the show show us , of course. I can't wait until you guys see what that Reach drink does..I love anytime I get to see Jonathan and Martha Kent (two of my fave comic book parents), so it was good to see Jonathan, And I can't wait until you guys see where the kidnapped teens go to once they are awake and out the pods.

I sometimes get very triggered with how Calvin can be so wrong about something and then stick to it to the point of convincing everyone else.

That's the perfect analogy when it comes to reading a mind.

I like how Erin is the only one who's watched teen titans but he somehow does not know who bumblebee is.

Bumblebee's teacher/professor/mentor is Atom.

Reading a mind is like reading a book. Imagine a typical diary, with a little lock and everything. Normal mind reading involves picking the lock and reading the pages within, with no actual damage to the book itself. What Me'ghan is doing is more like ripping the pages out of the binding, reading them, and leaving them scattered on the floor. There's not actually much risk of Kal'dur missing any pages, no gaps. But if you are trying to rebound the book in proper order, you have to read the pages. The prospect of Psymon being the one to do that is pretty daunting.

FYI Mal Duncan, the guy who went to school with Superboy & Miss Martian and wore the Guardian suit, was one the first black heroes in comics.

I just really like Sportsmaster in general. When I first heard his name, I never expected him to be such a badass. Even the fact that he fights using sports-themed weapons should be kind of silly, but he always comes off as really cool and competent.

Ja, but he didn't recognize him. You would have thought his shrinking and growing would have been enough, given all the nerdgasms Eric had when his alter ego's name was mentioned.
