Sub is definitely better for this show, but the dub isn't bad.

But it is fairly common for dubs to simply not have as much emotion in them

If someone is watching the sub then they don't know anything about the quality of the voice work because they have to read subtitles and don't know the language. People who complain about voice work and say watch the sub make me laugh. Japanese isn't so simple a language that you can comprehend all the subtleties and different cadences if you don't actually know it, people are just full of themselves.
I just took a dump

The whole dub vs sub thing is really a matter of personal preference. I've always watched anime in subs so I'm used to reading while watching... but there are good dub versions out there too. FMA and Gundam are good examples of anime that I actually prefer the dub over the sub. OPM is a pretty good dub version so I'm cool with it. On a side-note, really hope they eventually react to Death Note. That's one of the best anime out there and I'm sure it'll spark a lot of discussion and analysis from the crew.

The whole "you need to understand the language to appreciate the acting" is bullshit. I remember in one video shane said "i watch live action movies in their original language" this means you dont need to understand the language to appreciate acting.

I normally watch anime in sub, but I don't mind dubs that are done well, and I think One Punch Man is one of those. In fact, I prefer Genos's English voice over his Japanese voice. Genos's Japanese voice sounds very similar to Saitama's, that some times, when they're having a conversation with each other (which is most of the show...) it's hard to tell which one of them is speaking. And I find that Genos's Japanese voice is more of a generic-shounen-protagonist. Genos's English voice I find, is more unique, easily recognisable, and fits his too-serious cyborg self very well. Perhaps Genos's character is meant to be generic-shounen-protagonist, but that's my personal preference.

sub or dub idc but more than one ep a week for these short eps would be great.

The whole subbed vs dubbed thing is stupid. If you like subbed, watch subbed. People who prefer dubbed really don't care. For me, it depends on which version I see first. Naruto is the only one that I can watch both wit no issues.

Aye I too really prefer the subbed version. I always prefer the original voices for a series. It was meant to be like that, and after seeing several anime's I'm just used to reading the subtitles. So out of respect of the voice actors, and getting the right voice, makes the personalities perceived the way they were meant to. And I think that adds to the entire series how it *should*/*is meant to* be seen/perceived/understood.

I didn't like the dub voice either but I think it was just bc I watched one punch man at least 10 times in the subbed version so I was used it to it lol. But now that I watched them react to it, I could watch either version. The only dub I really hate is AOT.

I definitely prefer the english dub for One Punch Man. The actor for Genos really does a good job, and I don't understand why people dislike him either. He sounds stoic and heroic, he's the perfect foil for Saitama.
