Doctor Who 2x7 Reaction Early Access!

Comments

Yeah, us Brits say quid more commonly than pound. It's just like what Calvin said about you guys saying buck instead of dollar!

Harvey H

Knowing this was originally for the Ninth Doctor makes the super angry dangerous Doctor moments much more sense.

Tina L

Fun fact! This was originally written as a Ninth Doctor story, but since Chris only stayed one series, they changed it to Tennant. I have no idea what's going on with the Dutch angles, but I liked your guys' theory on how it makes things feel very unsettling and also a contrast between the "TV" shots and the usual shots. I mean, I don't hate this episode. It just doesn't do anything for me. There are some cool dramatic Doctor moments, and there's an underlying theme about politics and war veterans and hidden fascism even after WWII, but it never really goes anywhere important, except the scene where the son goes to help the father after he leaves, which I do like, and that's a bit of a shame. I'd say this is probably my least favorite Gatiss episode. Not that it's bad, it's not, but it just doesn't do anything for me personally, while some of his others at least engage me a bit more in some way. Either way, it was an incredibly enjoyable reaction nonetheless. You guys were obviously having fun. And the faceless people are really creepy looking. I'm glad we're making progress in this show, and as always, can't wait for what comes next.

I want to watch the full length so bad D:

Logan Ryan

Any clue when the full length goes up? I might give up and Just watch the cut version but that would kind of make full length pointless I feel I've already seen all the best bits

The doctor thinks he can always go where he wants, sometimes he is required to go where he is needed.

Bert

I think the dutch angles are just because this was a horror episode

Neil Prospect

By order of the Peaky fucking Blinders.

Jamie O'Brien

I honestly don't remember anything from this episode. The only thing I remember is the "AND IM NOT LISTENING" scene.

Jonathan Foreman

one of the 4 weak episodes this season ! in my opinion :)

Karston James

This is next week's episode.

Mark McKeown

Calvin is correct Quid is a pound, exactly like a buck is a dollar!

Paul Richardson

where do you find the next weeks episode? please help

Well I found This show hard to follow & did not know how the Doctor was going to handle it. Cool reaction.

StevenBrown

I LOVE watching Calvin watch Doctor Who. He's so excited and animated plus knowledgeable!

You can tell Calvin watches a lot of British TV with how quickly he addressed the pound/quid issue, good stuff my mans.

IrishNexus

Yay! :D

Rahul Attray
