There are no spoilers in the intros unless you knew what you were looking for. First off, you wouldn't catch Ling being there among the Homunculi or knew what it meant on first viewings. Second, he becomes one 2 episodes later. So yes, you can watch the intros without waiting. Especially when none of the other intros have these supposed spoilers.

Whenever you get a new opening or ending if you wait about 3 or 4 episodes you should be fine. For example this current opening has Ling among the homunculi which would be a spoiler since it takes another 2 episodes for it to happen from its first viewing.

Instead of protesting the military and protecting the innocent civilians, he meekly went back home when he was dismissed. He was ashamed of his inaction and regretted it. Now he knows how corrupted the military is, he vow not to run away again and will confront the military head on.
