Uh no. Patently absurd. Tenzin has an arc pretty much just this season and it is done in a few episodes. Sorry, that's not better than 3 books of Zuko arc, which is considered one of the best in fiction. Nice try though.

Also, yes, Jinora was the one who found the statue (and it comes back in 2 of the best episodes of the whole series (which I will point out when you get to them), Ikki was the girl who Tenzin had a bison tea party with. Meelo is the fart bender.

Tenzin's arc is so good. This season kick starts it, then through season 3 and a bit of 4 it is the BEST arc in all of Avatar...yes...that includes Zuko.

These reactions to Volume 2 are great, because it reminds me of the great parts in Volume two that I may have forgotten, whilst simultaneously enjoying the fact that is the BW crew are enjoying this, they have NO idea the greatness they are in for in Volumes 3 and 4 ;)

Man, I'm just not very excited for these episodes anymore because this season is such a drag to me lol. Can't wait til you guys get to the few good episodes, and then the next season!

Its weird, i didnt much care for the second season of korra first time around (also the only season ive never rewatched) i didnt like it. Rewatching it with you guys it seems so much better, still not as good as the other 3, but good.

If I remember correctly, in this universe 16 is considered adult in the water tribe, not 18. She is definitely an adult by her culture's standards.

I can't remember what the exact time frame of Korra is, but I think by season 2 she is at least 18 already. So she is technically already an adult unless I'm remembering wrong haha. In regards to the statue, you're right Calvin it was the older daughter, Jinora, who saw it. The younger one, Ikki, that Tenzin found with the baby bison didn't see it.
