Aaah, really like this episode, but again, I feel like I really can't say much because I'll end up confirming or denying your really entertaining theory crafting. :P Your reactions to Lin being a badass was amazing though, as was your reactions to the ~mysterious avatar visions~ korra keeps having. Also yeah, Amon is an incredibly well done villain. I'm glad you're enjoying him. I'd say look to the comics to find out more about the air nomad thing. You'll get some answers there, that you won't get in this show, but I also think you can survive not knowing as well. Either way, glad you guys are loving this show so much! I can't wait to continue on. :D

I think Season 1 is the best season of TLK and Season 3's art is amazing but the problem is with the character development, it's just not up to par with ATLA. Even if you don't compare it with ATLA the character development is mediocre at best. And then there's the dreaded Season 2. Season 2 just turned me off from the show. The only part I liked about that season is the story of Wan.

Judging by how much you guys are enjoying this season, more than I thought you would honestly, I have no doubt you'll love the rest of the show. especially the music since you've mentioned that a few times. It gets better every season and the finale of Season 3 is not only one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever seen in animation but the music is absolutely flawless in that moment as well.

The shows title is just The Legend of Korra. That's what it's listed as on Nickelodeons website and that is what the creators call it. Nowhere has it been listed as The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra.

I thought it was said somewhere that all the Air Nomads were benders. Because their culture was so spiritual every child born was a bender.

Also the air Nomads in LOK come from the air Acolytes who are shown in the comics. They are essentially young students who were fascinated with air Nomad culture and began collecting information about them. When Aang first meets them, he is insulted by their immaturity but eventually realises that he is glad to have people who can help him rebuild the air bending culture. And then they grew up into what we see now.

You guys are the best. I feel like people who hated this show really didn't relate to the maturity of these characters and disliked the fact that it wasn't the direct story after The Last Air Bender, which is explored in the comics. You guys can really appreciate the world building and the originality of the story, hence why we don't see a repeat in book chapter titles for this series and why Korra has almost learnt all the elements already. I can't wait to see all of these episodes and your reactions.

1.They already have a show that goes up on Monday. 2. Whats the problem with finishing in 2018? 3. They already said that they will never to two episodes a week for anything, ever again. It hurts their schedule to much.

What is the purpose of chi-blocking? To immobilize a target/ temporarily remove its ability to bend. What can the taser-glove do? Temporarily immobilize a target by knocking them out, and thus removing their ability to bend for however long they are knocked out. It effectively grants the wearer the same abilities as a chi-blocker; that's a very good "marketing strategy" for Amon to gain support from those whom have, in some way, form, or fashion felt oppressed by benders .

The announcer guy is amazing.

I think Amon was trying to gain support by showing how the supposed champs were cheaters who everyone saw and knew was cheating, yet they were celebrated and rewarded for it. He probably making a comparison to the cheating pro bender team to benders themselves. At the same it demonstrates the Equalist power. They did punish them, which still plays into the whole Equalist movement of being fair and just. While the attack is a terrorists attack that will definitely push some people away it will probably also attract some people as well.
