I think H.R swapped out with her at some point and it was H.R whas the one who dies with the whole foreshadowing shot of H.R being all nervous and then as the camera transitions it focuses in on the stabby thingy they took from him earlier on

I think it's bad that the only reason I care about Iris dying is because I don't want Barry to go emo, not because care about her character lol. By the way I voted for she's alive.

I would really like for her to die, because we all know she's going to live through some bs and it would be a nice change for them to kill a character like iris for a change rather than bringing them back an episode later, but on the other hand we'd have emo Barry... yeah don't kill iris I couldn't deal with Barry acting all depressed.

She might be dead. But There's still 1 more episode so we'll just have to wait and see. I was thinking about leaving Iris in ARGUS theory. Although it might seem like a good idea, but we still have to remember evil Barry's suit can move on its own and possibly without the help of the speed force. So it shouldn't be a problem to get to her anyway

Something just doesn't feel right about Savitar killing Iris at that point, maybe it's because we've seen it so many times that we expect something to happen thus it just seemed too easy or it was a trick. As for putting Iris in ARGUS for safe keeping, Savitar wears a suit that is basically a tank that can run on its own that Metahuman dampeners can not stop so even if he can't do everything a speedster is able to do, he is still basically unstopable and would kill everyone in his way.

If Iris isn't dead at this point, it invalidates the emotional weight of the episode, and wouldn't that mean Savitar's plan is already defeated he just doesn't know it? I think the better option would be for the team to move forward and find a way to bring her back.

What if this all turns out to be the ULTIMATE shenanigan and we find out that Barry never left the speed force. All of the episodes since we saw him go in have been a "preview" of what his eternal hell would look like. We have been told multiple times that people stuck in the speed force have to replay their personal hell every day. The big theme for the speed force episode was that Barry had to learn his lesson, and all of this culminating with him still not being able to save Iris is his hell and also his lesson. The finale is Barry accepting his fate and only then the speed force deems he is ready to go back and puts him back in his original time line. Or not, but that sure would be something.

As much as i dislike their relationship, i think shes alive.

She can't be dead...she likes dragon ball z. Barry better find bulma, get the dragon radar and wish her back to life ASAP.

The whole reason they had that scene with him blasting that gun around, was so they can later show HR switching places with Iris, using the body changer thing

Never thought of this idea really hope it works and they pull it off, I also hope Cisco gets through to iris....Savitars flash suit looked very beat up to me.

That moment with Cisco was definitely a goodbye moment, I think HR switched somehow. Great episode though, looking forward to seeing how Barry defeats THE GRODD OF SPEED!

My overall feeling is Iris is dead because Like Jays said its happened so it cant be changed the future. I however think There will be some type of craziness involved when Barry runs in a finale episode. There is always some crazy world fixing and wrap up too a flash season when Barry runs faster.

I think it wasn't Iris, because she didn't say I love you to Barry before she died. That, or she's dead.

I dunno I feel Like Iris is gone but maybe Team Flash will Defeat Savitar in the Season Finale and at the end Barry Might just do something to Save Iris and it will be the cliffhanger

I think Iris is alive and that Savitar actually killed a decoy Iris to break Barry but has kept the real Iris alive for himself.

While the HR theory is interesting, I have a hard time accepting that Iris would passively let someone else just die for her. Seems very un-Iris to me.

I'm pretty sure she's alive. I think HR and Iris switch before going to Earth 2. When they were on Earth 2 Iris didn't remember the song Joe would sing to her and I feel like that is something the real Iris would know but not HR. Also the first time we saw Iris die she said "I love you" to Barry but in this episode she just said "Barry". Which would make sense if it was HR.

Friend just came up with a GREAT theory. What if she switched with Joe using the hologram thingies in Earth-2? That makes perfect sense on why Joe wouldn't even fire a bullet at Savitar as he held Iris. Hopefully Barry doesn't kiss her dead body ;)

Such a sad episode but i don't believe she's dead. Definitely HR has done something to make up for everything he basically said goodbye to cisco when he left.

If anyone swapped out with Iris, it was Joe. He was on E-2 with her after HR was talking to Cisco about the love of his life etc. Something about the way he kept calling Savitar "Barry" just made me think of that possibility. OR more time fuckery, perhaps a Wally West time remnant with the face tech.

I reckon HR has done something, he felt guilty for giving Iris's location away, he had that talk with Cisco which ended with him saying, "Till next time" as he put his hat on, then a shot of HR looking at savitars blade. He may have used that face thing and switched with iris while Barry was trying to shoot savitar with that gun.
