2017-03-11 22:52:13 +0000 UTCShouldn't have stopped her so soon, should have let her walk away then maybe report when she wasn't standing next to dad.
2017-03-10 23:24:04 +0000 UTCEven though I think it was too harsh it was necessary.

2017-03-10 19:33:13 +0000 UTCYeah I totally agree J'onn was right to do what he did Alex wasn't thinking straight. The lady was Teri Hatcher, Dean Cains' Lois Lane from their Superman series

2017-03-10 10:45:27 +0000 UTCHe was absolutely in the right. Alex was compromised as she proved. And acted stupidly the entire episode. And Maggie did nothing to help but enable Alex's bad behaviour. Pissed me off.

2017-03-10 08:28:59 +0000 UTCHe should do it more not just to alex

2017-03-10 07:37:30 +0000 UTCI don't see why it was wrong whatsoever. He wasn't doing it to hurt her. He was doing it to test her loyalty. That's all.
2017-03-10 03:43:13 +0000 UTCJonn has the right to test her weakness.. I mean c'mon as a DEO agent she's being very UNprofessional... also that queen lady was Teri Hatcher from Lois & Clark, Desperate Housewives and Tomorrow Never Dies (Bond film)

2017-03-09 23:02:54 +0000 UTCWhat's really weird is when you compare Alex and Kara in this ep. Kara got lucky and her boneheaded would-flunk-journalism-101 single-source-that's-actually-her reporting happened to be right... so she got fired. Alex was unlucky and got caught pulling her boneheaded would-flunk-spycraft-101 trying-to-work-a-case-she-can't-view-objectively BS... so her boss said he was wrong? The hell?

2017-03-09 22:26:26 +0000 UTCWith hundreds or even thousands of other people's lives are at stake, J'onn needed to know that his top agent was in the right headspace. And since he had reasonable doubt, he needed to test her. If one person's feelings get hurt but it saves lives, it's the right thing to do.

2017-03-09 21:58:52 +0000 UTCI understand why he did it but it was a dick thing to do
2017-03-09 21:50:20 +0000 UTCHe was in the right to do what he did, he wanted to be sure Alex's personal feelings for her father wouldn't cloud her judgement which would have her go behind the DEOs back just to help him because he might've been good.

2017-03-09 21:32:13 +0000 UTCI feel like it was 100% justified. I felt a little bad for Alex after it happened but it needed to be done. Thankfully, things turned out okay but if Jeremiah hadn't redeemed himself after Alex went after him, it could have ended up being exactly what J'onn was afraid of.

2017-03-09 18:29:33 +0000 UTCHe needed to know if she would help I did not expect it but I understand why he did

2017-03-09 17:21:45 +0000 UTCHere is the problem J'onn is not above personal feelings changing the things he does lets say what if his dead wife was used and it seemed real and she asked him to do something. Its not a far judgement to only say Alex could be tricked when aliens can be tricked too.
Skeletor
2017-03-09 16:57:02 +0000 UTCIt was a realistic possibility that her dad might ask for her help or something along those lines. J'onn needed to test that kind of scenario. And by agreeing she proved that her judgement was skewed, however good her intentions may have been. As harsh as it seemed it was necessary
2017-03-09 16:16:41 +0000 UTCVisually and emotionally it looked bad but it needed to be done. Everyone can be vulnerable when friends and family are involved, and it will almost always affect decision making. How many aliens suffered because of Jeremiah and his betrayal last week. They didn't get shipped off world but the emotional trauma they suffered by Cadmus won't go away anytime soon. Too often the innocent pay when our heroes get compromised emotionally, can't let that happen as hard as it is to do so.

2017-03-09 15:40:08 +0000 UTCIt was necessary to test her loyalty, but I think the way he did it was a bit harsh.
2017-03-09 15:21:25 +0000 UTCI think the way he did it was a bit fucked up but he did need to test her loyalty.
