I chose Guardian because he would have Mon-El and Winn and Supergirl would have Alex and Maggie. I feel that would make them feel more balanced in my opinion. I also agree with people saying he would learn more from Guardian then he would learn from Supergirl.

Mon-El and Guardian are both reckless and inexperienced, they're too dangerous teamed together. But the risks are different. Mon-El needs to learn how to fight without endangering others--that's something he can learn from Supergirl. Guardian needs to learn how to fight superpowered people without getting killed--that's something he can learn from the DEO. Guardian should team with Alex!

I like the team up of supergirl and mon-El but guardian, still doesn't have powers. I think mon-El would be a better partner to guardian cos supergirl doesn't need too much help whereas guardian without powers might need help.

Start small just like Kara did in the first season and work your way up. Her early mistakes happened when she tried to tackle big task too early on. And in retrospect Wynn and Guardian would be a better fit for that kind of thing.

Mon-El, Guardian and Wynn trio would be awesome. Mon-El needs to learn to care more for everybody and not just Kara. Guardian is the best mentor for Mon-El to learn to care for the people, and learn about the more human side of being a superhero.

I say guardian as other have said working with Kara could be too distracting for him and he could accidentally cause a mission to go wrong. Plus he isn't too overpowered where he could team with guardian too fight some alien criminals that guardian can't take out himself.

Guardian as Mon-Els feelings for Kara would be too much of a distraction, also 2 superpowered heros together feels a bit overkill and seeing how James and Winn work as a team (without powers) would be good for him. (Show him not to only rely on his abilities ).

I personally think they should all work together but if I have to choose it has to be Guardian it might be too difficult for him to work with Supergirl as he likes her and it might distract him

I think Guardian is the better choice. Mon-El is always going to be more interested in protecting Kara if they work together. Where as with Guardian, Mon-El is still the rookie and can provide extra muscle if needed. Also they're going to be more alert in a fight because they're both not bulletproof.

In my modest opinion the best teacher would be Martian Manhunter but since there is only 2 options I vote Supergirl. The Guardian Fits better with his already side kick.

I vote Supergirl over Guardian b/c Mon-El helping Guardian may feel like having an easy mode crutch against normal criminals that can't stand up to aliens. If James and Winn can prove that they can stand up to supervillains without them, it might change Kara's opinion on them being in danger in the field.

Supergirl. Of course. I cannot stand this Guardian storyline. It's the worse thing about this season. It doesn't work. And needs to be put to an end.
